Try Scott West, only 3 games at the moment, zero money, could play lot more if suits

Did he play against Doncaster the weekend just gone? Hearing yes.
Know his boy is a gun junior at Strathmore.
16's or 18's not sure, could that be the incentive maybe to play with the son?

Can't see it happening. He's 40 years old and retired 6 and a half years ago. Certainly a super player in his day, but Father Time catches up with everyone.

Maybe commitment otherwise for the reason of only committing to 3 games, but he is one of the elite competitors of the game that loves the contest

Seriously!
As valuable as he may be (emphasise may be) at his age.
Div 1 & 2 clubs and Abers get his type for a few games.
If he's playing praccy games you'd think its all or nothing.

Surely your kidding boys. His got to be to old for premier division. Is he playing praccie matches with his son maybe for a bit of fun.
I'm not trying to put him down but doubt his going to play this year.

Is he coaching anywhere this year? I hear his a good coach so would be good to hear his still involved somewhere.
Will his son get a senior game this year as I don't know him or seen him play..

Northern very comfortable winners over Cheltenham by 80 odd points..

Hillside beat coburg districts by about 5 goals, Rocky Ferraro kicked three

Practice matches for this week. Can anyone help fill in the gaps.Wouldn't mind watching a game but edfl website dosen't give times or venues.
West Coburg v Bundoora venue?
Corowa v PascoeVale
Greenvale v Werribee centrals venue?
St Joeys Geel. v Avondale Heights
Northern Saints v Cheltenham Venue?
Fitzroy stars v Abers
APW V ?
Smore v ?
Marby v Newtown @ Geelong no score recorded.
Keilor v ?

Seen on twitter St Joeys beat Avondale quite comfortably, on the GFL forum St Joeys are expected to struggle this year so either means Avondale are in trouble after l I sing there whole misfield or the GFL is a much stronger comp than EDFL

Well what do you think?
Can not remember any edfl side beating a GFL side in a practice match & there rep side would beat the edfl by 10 goals plus, at the moment l think the edfl sit about 3rd to 4th best comp in metro footy

GFL is probably a stronger comp overall but it is hard to gauge off preseason games as recruits/key players are generally wrapped in cotton wool at this time.

or it may mean that it was simply a Practice Match. Just like NAB Cup results in AFL.

Northern Saints are playing at Charles Mutton Reserve.
The Northern Saints will be an outside chance for the top four if their first performance for the year against respected Southern League side Cheltenham is anything to go by. There were many contributors These included, among others, the Caruso brothers, Chapman and under 18 player Jack Smith.

Interested to know if Rose & Galea played. If one of both didn't then that's there forward line missing. Wouldn't expect Galea to play more than 1 praccie game. He doesn't need any practice and you can afford to have them injured in pre season..

Caught a little bit of the game yesterday, Northern moved the footy quite well but I wouldn't get to carried away with yesterday's performance. Chapman played very well, seemed like Nat & Fort didn't spend much time on ball maybe giving a few other blokes ago. Good to see there discipline was up also.
