That could be true. I was just listing every key forward I could think of that had been drafted in recent years with a top pick.
It certainly rings true with the King twins for me, so you do have a valid point.

That was my first thought, when I read the post.Roughead and franklin were handy picks.

not sure there was a top ager who will play afl from that game yesterdayWalsh’s stats from yesterday

Named on Thursday, not listed as injured. No idea why he was a withdrawal.
Suffice to say the Falcons really missed him as that meant they were missing 11 players, and end up losing after leading by 5 goals at the 18 minute mark of the second term.
Dragons were only missing 46 players mind you.![]()
Would think Brownless is the only one if any.Yep. Would be a stretch.
My thoughts are he tends to play better when Walsh and McHenry are in, but disappears/doesn't have the impact when they are out (more attention/responsibility).He’d want to improve a fair bit then.
They will rotate him and Bowman although Bowman is better at FF than CHFi would like to see bailey williams play as ruck. unfortunately hes too competent as a forward as well.

Connor McFayden the clear standout, he looked very good when attaking the contest. Kicked 4 goals and could have had more.Purely selfish but did you notice how the Lions academy boys went?
Some nice things to take out of today’s practise matches. Metro seem the stronger side this year.
Brownless was good early but was quiet after that, Idun was solid down back but yeah he is a bit undersized at 190cm playing a tall role. I think he is a late pick/rookie at this stageCalT mentioned Brownless playing well.. I keep seeing Idun selected as KPD ..how tall is he ? Is he more of HBF type in afl?

Brownless is slightly more inside but he will be more of a flanker at AFL level I reckon, he has nice hands and moves well and he used his voice and smarts to help his teammatesMmm its a bit of a shame then that kids tall enough to play the role in afl..will not get a go in the u18's.
As a mid ..who or what type of mid is OB... outside ball user type?

Needs to do some work of the ball I don’t think his running is at a high enough standard but get that right and he could be a steal for you guys late.
Not many played. Budarick, O'Neill, Green, Delahunty and Rayner where the only bottom agers. I didnt mind O'Neill through the middle in the first game.Did any of the Allies underagers (2019 draftees) impress
