I rate Bailey Williams rather high, it will be interesting to see his progression this year compared to where you have him rated.

So i lied about Friday, updated rankings are now up. Matthew Green the major slider, Jackson Hately comes into the top 10.
I’m thinking of the last few drafts and what people will think of this draft in years time I have a feeling Walsh will end up the safest bet to be a gun, he has a style of play that can work with any style a team wants to play, modern footy its harder for the taller players to be consistently good.Walsh in front of Lukosious?
I just dont see the logic in this at all.
Walsh can play but I dont think he has done anywhere enough to surpass JL.
Though I concede Brisbane may prefer a midfielder as well as Carlton but Jack is potentially a Kernahan type player.
I still have Lukosius at 2 so it’s not like I don’t have him in the mix haha I’ve only seen his game for the academy this year, my main query with him is his contested game. His kicking is elite for his size and he moves around the ground so well. How much of JL have you watched?
The kid is an absolute gun who is playing against men for the second year in a row and is suited to the demands of the modern key forward.
He has the presence of a Kernaghan and the work ethic of Riewoldt.
I like Walsh and he will play a lot of footy but he reminds me of Brent Stanton at present. Runs incredibly hard, will be a really good afl footballer but needs to hurt opposition more with disposal. If he can improve disposal he can be Nigel Lappin which is amore effective player.
Both kids can flat out play.
In terms of talent I am leaning towards a top 10 of:
Lukosious
Rankine
Blakey
M King
Walsh
B King
Hately
Hill
Thomas

don’t mind that he tries to use his left foot aswell.
As a bombers man I don’t think Lloyd and Hird would ever kick on their opposite foot. I’ve seen a few players before getting drafted have pretty decent opposite kicking but they where’s either discouraged from kicking with it or never felt comfortable. Kicking opposite foot is pretty easy if you practise it enough so maybe it’s been something that’s discouraged at AFL level these days for some reason. Is it just me or has the ambipedal (excellent kick in both feet) become a rare breed in modern football?
15-20 years ago every budding AFL player would be expected to not just try to use their non-preferred foot, but actually be pretty adept at it too.
Might be time for my slippers and dressing gown.

I saw him first hand in the SANFL prelim final last year V sturt - who had the meanest defence in the league and both their key defenders wwon Jack oatey medals for best on ground in the back to back grand final years last year and 2016..and Lukosius came in from the U18's as a 16 or 17 year old for his first game and kicked 4 goals - some long ones from 50 or just outside, took contested marks and gave the sturt defence a merry runaround. In fact Lukosius was the ONLY eagle forward that did dominate for them in their loss that day. Anyone who thinks Lukosius might not be the best of the lot...well all Ican say is check him out if you can because he looks like he has the potential to be the dominant forward of his age groupHow much of JL have you watched?

Absolutely agree. From a personal perspective I am just really glad that the crows have 2 1st round picks and carltons 2nd rounder which could come in around pick 20 this year as that means at the least 3 very good players will be drafted. Lots of noise on our boards whether Sloane stays or goes but if he goes then it should either net another 1st round compo pick or a trade that will net something in the first round so all in all, this draft (along with Fogarty from last year who I think has almost unlimited potential and already has a bit of a cult following with our supporters) could help keep the crows going in the upper parts of the league for some time to comeJL will be a standout #1 pick, all the other picks are going to make it a very interesting draft.
You could literally throw a blanket over the next 5 and the Champs are only going to add to this.
No Bytel? WOW.How much of JL have you watched?

If DPS has Bytel around 5 to 6 and you don't have him in your top 10, where do you have him? Yet DPS likes your top 10, I am confused. Which isn't out of the normalHow much of JL have you watched?
