Finnis' comments game as Fairfax Media learnt that Bombers players were injected in the stomach by club sports scientists during 2012. It is not known whether those injections consisted of hormone treatment. The players were also fed substances intravenously at a clinic near the club.

At least two former Bombers have confirmed that a club high-performance official - believed to be the sacked Stephen Dank - administered the stomach injections with no club doctor present. Those players have told AFL club officials they now feel embarrassed, concerned and foolish that they allowed themselves to be treated as such.

I dont really understand the panic...the club and players who have commented so far have all assured us that everything taken was within the rules, with signed consent forms stating that all supplements were in accordance with ASADA and AFL regulations...surely if Dank has been injecting players with something other than what they signed for he will be locked up for a long time
