I saw it a few months ago when Lord of the Rings came out. Looked pretty good to me. Looks like it starts off with a bit of a romantic slant but turns pretty evil towards the end with Anakin turning to the dark side.

The clone wars.....is that where they duplicate the same dull stuff out of the other films of the same name in the purposs of making a ton of money from people that see the film and think "Cool. Star Wars." rather than actually watching the film and coming to the conclusion "Hmm. This isn't very challenging, is it."

I didn't even realise there was a first and second trailer. I might try and refrain from viewing them-I want to see The Clone Wars fresh so to speak.

I don't know about in Australia, but in the States they advertised for two weeks that they WERE GOING to show the trailer.

That may have been the first time in history that someone felt it was necessary to make a commercial for a commercial. This struck me as very pompous and ridiculous. Pushed all my annoyance buttons.

I agree with Porthos. Unless Lucas has pulled his head out, this will be re-hash. Doesn't matter. I'm fully willing to pay six bucks to watch a lightsaber fight, and it will beat hell out of a chick flick.

BTW Does anyone know when they will advertise the commercial for the commercial for the commercial for the new Jordan Basketball shoes? Just wondering.

Lucas is big on mythology, Porthos. These next two films will be about the beginning of the end of Anakin Skywalker, and about the choices he has to make, that will eventually lead to him becoming Darth Vader.

These next two film are not "re-hashng" anything. Lucas doesn't need the money - he is already a billionaire. If it was ONLY about money he wouldnt be making a trilogy were the bad guys win at the end of Episode III.

The effects are nice, but it's the story that has always propelled Star wars. The good vs evil mythology has always served it well. There will be certain recurring themes, aimed at linking the two trilogies, but each Star Wras movie is unique in its own right.

We will see certain things in these movies we havn't seen before. We will see Anakin - devastated at the death of his mother - lash out, which proples him into becoming Darth Vader. When all six movies are watched together, it will be clear that Anakin made the wrong decision, while his son made the correct ones.

No doubt you, and millions of other will pay the $10.50.
