Thought I'd post in here instead of starting a similar thread.

Mackenzie has had another really good year. Backed up nicely and has improved again adding some offensive run to his game. His consistency is really impressive and his commitment to his role.

It looks like we might just get pipped at the post again with him getting an AA.

Scott Thompson again has had a really good year and if Mackenzie is a Glass, Thompson is more a Scarlett mould which will get more attention. Hooker might just be ahead of him too with Talia, May, Dunn also having good years.

What's the big footy verdict can Ezy make it this year?

It helps I think that many of the media types are talking him up a bit.

AA is a media driven selection.

Well I didn't see any goals kicked on Mackenzie last night so that brings his season tally up to 18:
Break down like this:
Round 1 - Stringer = 0 goals.
Round 2 - Howe = 0 goals.
Round 3 - Riewoldt = 1 goal.
Round 4 - Hawkins = 3 goals.
Round 5 - Schulz = 2 goals.
Round 6 - Henderson = 2 goals.
Round 7 - Pavlich = 0 goals.
Round 8 - Patton = 0 goals.
Round 10 - Cloke = 1 goal.
Round 11 - Petrie = 2 goals.
Round 12 - Roughead + Gunston = 4 goals.
Round 13 - Dixon = ? goals.
Round 14 - Riewoldt = 1 goal.
Round 15 - Pavlich = 1 goal.
Round 16 - Franklin = 1 goal.
Round 17 - Merrett = 0 goals.

I think he was playing on Lynch who kicked 3. Could be wrong.

In fairness though, that was only 1 of 4 games this year where both teams scored 100+ so 3 goals isn't too bad.

There was a graphic up comparing goals kicked on Talia, Thompson, Mackenzie and Hooker before the game tonight.
This graphic had Mackenzie with 32 goals kicked against him. Unless 10 goals were kicking on him in the GC game this number is factually incorrect.
