The two games i watched live

Swans - Stanton was tagged by Nick Smith ( who had success tagging in the previous weeks ) - Stants took him to the cleaners.

I think you're a little confused.

Has to be referring to the 09 game, where Winders & Lovett kicked us clear in the last.

How we miss both him and a couple of forward targets. Really put a lot more onto the rest of our midfielders.

Not if he's not playing on the ball. Becomes pretty hard to tell when Stanton took his tagger forward and the ball didn't get there for 10 minutes.

It should have been Winderlich instead of Stanton.

Think N.Smith lasted only a quarter on Winderlich.

The game was rd 11 2009.
Tippett 7.1, Walker 2.1, Knights 5.0 and they just couldn't miss (Crows kicked 21.4).

Watson was dominating clearances until half time & we were leading; then he got pretty heavy pressure & was tagged out of it.
I've no idea who went onto him but he copped a tag & a few blocks which could've or should've been called.

Watched this game from Bali so may have been affected by ARAK.

Thought that Adelaide ran T.Edwards head to head against Watson in the second half - although as you suggested effective blocks were placed against watson - Remember that Edwards slayed the clearances in the second half.

Essendon could win the premiership in 2011, but with a compromised draft, where would that leave us for the future? I say, we should formally withdraw from the competition this season and lobby for priority picks and draft concessions upon re-entry in 2012.

As many in this thread have outlined, there are no positives in attempting to make the finals.
