Only my second game for the year due to work commitments... Could not believe there was still a bloke next to me giving it to Stanton. Surely now, after his start to the year, there couldn't be any morons left.

A couple of his pearlers:
"Get a kick Stanton" literally 4 minutes in to the game. He'd probably had a few touches already.
Later in the game, when he somehow had the insight that Stanton actually was getting plenty of the ball, but lacked the insight to realise this was a good thing... "Stop f*#!ing giving it to Stanton" as he racks up yet another possession and inside 50.

Cant stand the Stanton haters..but then again..you pay the money to show up/buy a membership, you have a right to criticise

What an imbecile.

At the Carlton game this year I had some old flog a couple rows behind me who said nothing all day except "just kick the blasted thing long!!"

On one occasion, Heppell got the ball deep in the back pocket. He had quite a bit of space, and looking up saw about four or five Carlton players straight ahead about 50 metres away. Didn't stop said flog from bleating "kick the blasted thing long Heppell!!", even though doing so would have turned it straight over. Eventually someone chirped up with something along the lines of "shut up d*ckhead, there's no one to kick to!"

Thankfully Heppell also realised that, and instead went sideways and thought his way out of it.

Some people have no idea.
