I was all for taking Hurley, but I really think that we need a classy midfielder. Obviously the inclusion of Prismall helps, but either Ziebell or Sidebottom would be ideal first selections.

I wouldn't be too disappointed if we drafted Hurley though.

Correct, he is the one I really want at 5, but I am being realistic and like Yarran, I am not sure our list is at a stage to take PUNTS, and Swift would be a punt. He'd be like a roulette wheel, could be awesome, could be a flop. Doubt there would be much in between for Swift. I am leaning towards getting Hamish Hartlett, has a bit of X Factor and is a genuine mid.

RIG, I have stopped talking about him- I am being realistic and that is why I said I want Hamish Hartlett. But he is my 2nd preference and that won't change. That said if Hartlett or any midfielder's name is called out at pick 5 I will be happy. Use pick 23 on a tall, I'd be temped to get Jaden Post if Lisle is picked before.

I wouldn't mind him actually RIG. Probably not ahead of Hartlett though as I do feel Hartlett has that X Factor in close that we need. Would not mind one bit if Sidebottom's name is called out at pick 5 though.

I'd say the latter. When I've watched him (which isn't a lot) despite having a lack of pace, he plays fast. Kind of like Rhys Palmer who ran 3.05 at DC I think, but if you watch him, the way he moves the ball is quite fast.

The massive bonus for Sidebottom is he has a huge motor and is bottom aged so there's a lot of room for improvement.

I know you are referring to running, but surely Sidebottom would be a better kick than Palmer. What is Sidebottom's field kicking and goal kicking like?
