Holding their own...haven't come on as well as Heppell mind you. Almost un-natural the way that kid has slotted in...

Every single one of those 18 loses cut deep, I never said any different.

It's a nice consolation to know I've felt all warm and fuzzy 24 times in the same period, though.

22-18 by mine. Could be wrong though and I'm not counting again.

So yeah, that's 18 times it burnt you. For me, I don't much care if Essendon win or lose in other matches, just so long as you don't nudge above 16 before us.

Still ... only as good as your last game and all that.

No that is opinion. A fact is not arguable. It just is. I dont rate him. Those stats show that he is on a par with Simmo and Carrots, I would take them both before Watson. If his name was Smith this wouldnt even be an argument. He is a good honest player. I believe (not a fact an opinion) he would get a game with us, but he is not better than those 4 players. My opinion. I came here armed with both facts and my opinion. The facts say his stats are ordinary. Simmo and Carrots have similar stats, just ok not super elite. Now go look up the elite player stats, Murph, Judd, Abletts, Mitchells Hodges of the AFL. Then you might be able to take the blinkers off a little.

He shines amongst the mediocrity that is your list in much the same way that Grigg shines at the Tigers.
