Well done to Raikkonen 3rd place in the standings, under the circumstances, is a stunning result. Not definitely the case that Alonso was the best driver this season.

After being completely out of it since the AGP. Button finished only 2pts off Hamilton! (I know of Hamilton's problems). Webber 6th, in a year where his team mate wins the title. He should be a bit I had a look at where the team mate of the title winner has been so far behind. Kovalainen beats Mark with a 7th in 08. Special mention to Fisichella, with 5th in 05 and only 1 win. Although he missed out on 4th with Schu getting a free win at Indy.

Do you think Alonso would have a say in the matter. Unless he wins one of the next 2 titles, before Vettel who is a good chance at being a 3 time champ becomes avaliable, Ferrari would be stupid not to have a massive crack at him.

Alonso has a clause in his contract that gives him some say in who his teammate will be.

Shit loads of winners.
Perez proved towards the end that he isnt ready for a McLaren, i reckon they wish they hadnt signed him up so soon.

Highlight for mine was seeing Williams win again.
Lowlight, Schmi couldnt re hit top form and sneak one.

Fantastic season, I'm not sure I could've asked for more ... except perhaps Williams winning both titles

2012 has been one of the most exciting seasons of Formula 1 in recent years. Hopefully 2013 will be better still - in terms of Williams taking yet another leap up the grid, hopefully.

Apart from AMW's season going to the dogs the very second he re-signed with RBR , it was a brilliant season.
Just think of how many different winners we COULD have had if Perez had managed to not shoot his load in Malaysia and the Hulk last night.

Give me that every year instead of the same 3 teams dominating.

As a Webber fan , all i want out of him next year is a win in Melbourne......anything after that is a bonus IMO
