I agree in some respects, a 'Bottom 10' is interesting and obviously those 10 posters aren't in the worst ten of the SFA; but what's the point in making articles about the actual 10 worst posters when they won't even notice?
It probably shouldn't be called a 'Bottom 10' - because it really isn't, unless you consider it a 'Bottom 10 of active posters'

You only answered the first part of Brokens question. .. I assume the first part, so thanks for the vote of confidence. ..
Itsmyshow (Hawks) - This was his initiative plus if you haven't seen him around the board you're not looking very hard, active with a good mix of flog and hack. .. ahem quality(Can only think of Bonce as a possible replacement)
Wise Guy Sam (Wonders) - One of the highest rated posters on the board, especially this season. ..
BILC (Furies) - The guy has been rated highly by the board over several seasons, there are a couple from the Furies Filthy Sanchez and equus that would have been good too but BILC is quality. ..
Gibbsy (Dragons) - Highly underrated, does heaps for the league in the background and a very balanced poster. .. Who else from the Dragons would you choose?
Eth (Demons) - Does a lot of background work for the league and I cannot think of another balanced poster from the Demons that could replace him. . Deddy, could have been an option once he was around a bit longer. ..
The final point is that the eight members seem to respect the other seven members and its been a good venture so far. .. I applaud IMS in deciding to make a representative from each club. ..
For the sake of Completion. ..
beez (Bombers) - Possibly the most respected guy in the league
Broken (Roys) - Unimpeachable
Claypigeon (Gumbies) - All round awesome guy
A self appointed list of power posters. Can't see an issue with that, carry on. Seems a flawless concept.

To be honest I was hoping to see something I wasn't expecting to see, something that took me by surprise. One hope though, was that it going to be a combined-effort publication with varying contributors grrr
But here are some options I keep mulling over:
- Looking back, this round last year, 5 seasons ago, 10 seasons ago (I want to do this but can't find the time)
- Where are they now - find some big stats leader who's gone awol and work try to find/interview them.
- Arena system - team success translates to $ that can be used on strictly cosmetic bragging rights - arena upgrades etc,. Might include a gate takings calculation based on match activity. etc.

Interesting. Something the SFA Someday could take that to some of the other SFA media outlets, I will have a long slow think about it.

My opinion on it is you can't just name quality players in the bottom 10 without any reasoning, which is what they have done. Put some reasoning behind the choices and people might take it a bit more seriously.

I don't understand all the big fuss. Part of bantering is putting down your opponents and calling them crap. This list is no different, except it's a conjoined effort and is more criticism. People complaining about the reasons not being released publicly are just nitpicking because the effort it takes to PM one of the eight members and ask "Why am I on this list and what can I do to get off it" is a lot less than the effort it takes to have a meltdown and post about how hurt your feelings are.
If you can't handle being told that this week in a fantasy football forum you were one of the bottom 10 active posters, then you should just gtfo the whole forum and possibly Earth.
On a side note, did have a lol at the hypocrisy here.
How is that any different from being told you're in a bottom 10 list?

Agree with doggies - reasons for rankings are needed; I found the rankings thread to be quite underwhelming considering all the apparent 'analysis' and 'effort' these posters had gawn to.

I appreciate all of the feedback regarding attaching reasons.. But the decision was made to not do that in the threads, the problem with a majority of you, is that you are sheep. You are unable to make your own assessment without the dynamic input of others, tis why you are all clinging desperately to this "add comments" line..
The option is there, in plain English in the OP, if you want feedback, send a PM and a response will be provided.
If you don't like the way that this is being constructed, then don't read it... It's like listening to a bunch of parents that are offended by certain TV programming, if you don't like your kids watching it, change the ****ing channel.
But seriously, it is only a matter of time before a really clever "rival" group get together to do their "Top 8" which will contain each member of the........... Name TBA...
But in reality, I encourage you to go forth and do what you need to do, I am pretty sure there are 7 others that would be of the same opinion.

If you have one player doing a rankings list, I could understand the effort might be too much - you have 8.

You, like a few others in this thread, obviously skimmed through the article and hence missed the point. I am not complaining about melt downs or put downs. I am complaining that the 8 involved are too weak to say it, usually, so hide their personal opinions. Also, I am in no way pissed that I am not part of a super group. 1) I have always disliked rankings threads, but understand their place. 2) Why would I be chosen ahead of Beez when there is one representative per club? I was ranked number 3 for the week, so if anything I should be pleased.
Two points:
1) For a decent poster, you have always had shit grammar. I am not the grammar nazi, I certainly make mistakes myself because it is a casual environment. But your constant confusion of than/then and your disgraceful use of their/they're is a blight on your posting.
2) They are faceless men. They are the definition of faceless men. Yes, there names are there for all to see, but none of their opinions are made known. They hide behind "the party." That is the definition of the "faceless men" description.
-I do not dislike the Bottom Ten thread, per se. But how about a change of format? How about each of the 8 super group members posts their votes (and reasons if they wish), and then IMS posts the collaboration, final result, and summary of reasons? Or would that do your reputations too much harm? My issue with the thread, as stated in the OP, is simply that it is cowardly. Several of these posters rarely have the guts to have a go at posters publicly.
