Thanks mate I do.

I see why people are downtrodden, I despise losing more than anyone, but life goes on the next day. What I despise even more is lack of effort, and I dont think our guys can be accused of that yet.

Im glad you do, I treasure and appreciate every moment I am with my father too.

True, they did show effort and heart against the Blues. Problem with our Club is that we come up with different reasons to lose games.

I think our backline is due to leak goals after the stat that I gave above.

Is it wrong that my care factor was so low that I only just checked the weekly teams? Or that I didn't realise that there was a Thursday night game on this week?

I feel more disinterested now than back in 2010/11 when I just wanted Neil gone (remember when we thought the head coach was the biggest thing wrong with the club).
It's not wrong at all, it's been nice not having your drivel sprouted on here all week.

If it makes you feel better you are not alone. The fact that this is only page 6 probably tells you how us supporters have lost faith.

I feel for the supporters that turn up on Sunday, its obvious there has been many games this year where the side just hasnt rocked up to play. Its disheartening to say the least.
No, the fact this is 6 pages is because the Suns don't generate a huge interest, and their supporter base isn't all that large either. It's not due to a loss of 'faith' as you put it.

Gee theres some sad sacks in here, best keep the razor blades from you guys.

Maybe its my love of the game, and my irrational love for my club but I always look forward to seeing my team play. To say you feel sorry for those of us who turn up....... give it a rest please.

Our club has issues, and we spend 7 days a week talking about it but for 3 hours a week I like to forget about that rubbish and go enjoy the Adelaide Oval with my old man, not expecting much but forever hopeful
Well said. Adelaide could be going as bad as Brisbane and I would still look forward to our games each week. AFL is awesome, even if your team is going shit. Plenty of people couldn't give a rats arse about what goes on off field or during the week, they just enjoy attending games and seeing their team play.

With the way the Suns have played this year, we will need one of our best efforts up forward to win this game.

Suns have averaged 94 pts this year and we would need our third best score this year to beat that.
And we are averaging just a tick under 90 points a game, hardly a huge difference.

I had a brief look around and the page count is on par with other games, so its a fairly normal post count in this thread.

Played some average teams amongst that lot but no doubt they are better.

The concern though is that we have averaged just 78 points in our last 4 games, where all of those games were played in good conditions.

Paladin was correct in that our backline has performed well, its our forward line that has struggled for the past 4 games to kick a score >100.

Very true, all I have posted are just averages. A lot of variables when you analyse the data closer.

I do expect this to be a big scoring game, I think you and your Dad are going to have a great time.

A predictable change, always thought Otten looks better in defence....

Laird in the midfield is want i want to see... someone pacy, hard at it and can play inside and outside.

Im at the point where I refuse to try to predict how we might perform. The talant and skill is there, we've seen it but the consistancy just isnt there and thats 100% a mindset thing.

This just seems too much like it will be one of those reasonably winnable matches where we pack it in and put in a dull, disinterested (bar a brief burst) performance and lose by 5 goals.

I want to believe we can score a big victory to resurrect the season (for the second time) but that's what I'm lead to expect.

Hi Guys,

Long time reader and on holidays in Adelaide for 5 days. I'm hoping for a Suns win but know it will be a great game! If anyone is having pre-drink beers I'll prob go to Casino or is there any better recommendations?

Id really like to see Pods dropped as he's playing pretty ordinary football (Avg 1.1 goals and 13.6 touches in our last 3 matches). But unfortunately we have no-one who can come in as a third tall unless we play Otten up there. Smack is struggling at SANFL level, Osborn isnt ready, Johnston is injured and is in the same boat as Smack and the guy Id like to see play as our third up forward Lynch is still at least 3-4 weeks away.

The mail is getting stronger Danger will miss......that'll be a huge out for us. I'll be surprised if he plays
