The legendary radscorp messed my shit up good. And to make things worse he was combined with a suicider supermutant.

Really liking the differences between all the settlements. Found one right at the top of the map which is awesome and totally different to the others I've seen so far

Got my arse handed to me last night by a robot who was protecting a caravan, took ages and many deaths but killed it, looked inside the caravan and nothing was in it.

Yep there is a charisma check. But my charisma is 3 so obviously failed hard

Hahaa I managed to persuade him

Also, if you have your gun out when you run into these robots, they will attack. Not sure if it always works but give that a go.

There's a companion in goodneighbour and diamon city of people want a change. I do like dogmeat as they seem to attack him first and then I can pick them off but it's nice to have someone to talk to and who comments on things.

Anyone got any ridiculously powerful legendary weapons yet?
I've picked up an SMG that's bullets explode on contact and do 15 damage as an area of effect.
Use it as a last resort to shred other legendary enemies when things aren't working out.

Sorta wish i had more charisma. Would help out a lot for settlements (need high charisma to unlock things like supply lines).

Haven't played fallout for years, can't remember much about builds.

I'm looking be pretty handy with weapons, also want the RPG side of it so charisma and Intel?

I've gotten a few 'star' weapons but nothing that beats my home made ones. Loving the weapon crafting!

I like trying high Charisma and Intelligence. Intelligence so I can build really good weapons, Charisma for the dialogue and in this game, settlements. Agility too is pretty high to get more AP for VATS.

Having said all that, Luck seems to be the most important stat this time although mine is at 5 and I've been going fine.

Got this shotgun that wounds enemies after they've been shot. I'm killing legendary mutants with one shot!

Has anyone captured the castle yet? I tried it a couple of days ago but couldn't make a dint in the Giant Milelurks health. Had to reload an old save to get away so if anyone had any tips that'd be great

Take some out of Luck and put it into Intelligence.

For me personally who has no interest in melee combat, I went S2. Could have gone S1 tbh. I'd take 1 or 2 off yours and stick them firstly into Intelligence and then Agility. If you want a melee'er though don't do that.

You level up fairly quickly though so you can always rectify any mistakes you make
