Food, technology, running water, clean sheets, rub n tugs, booze, safety. What's not to like.

Don't forget those Matrix-like Courser outfits.

Bow down to the rightful rulers of the Commonwealth.

I've only done the initial mission and that was purely by chance. If you like the idea of crafting your own robots and have invested in the Robotics perk you should get a fair bit of enjoyment out of it. Apparently there's more bobbleheads to collect too which is pretty cool.

it's the bare minimum of what you would expect out of a $15 DLC. There's 3 missions and a couple of new weapons and armour. Easily the best thing about it is the robot workshop. You get to create some pretty cool companions.

Having good fun with this game. Especially dressing Macready for serious missions in the most ridiculous outfits I can find. Laundered dresses and sailors' hats are a staple.

So I made the mistake of equiping Deacon with a minigun. Not sure if it's a glich, but during an attack on a Gunner stronghold he suddenly turns on me.

Being chased by Deacon with a minigun is one of the scarier things I've encountered.

Don't have the perk where your companions can't hurt you? :D

So I started the second mission of the DLC, was made acutely aware that my stealth armour and approach would not fly against the robot enemies by being made piss in about 6 seconds. Have gone and retrieved one of my power armours and will try again soon.

Besides carting it back to my base I've perhaps used it once or twice. Not really a big fan of it, the display shits me off and it clunks too much considering I like sneaking around. Though I have sought out and modded all 5 sets in case I wanted to use it in future, I guess that time has come.

I like collecting power armour and putting it all in a big room to look at.

Yeah same, I've painted them all different and added different mods. The Atomcats version has the jet pack.

I've used the Raider one a couple of times purely as it seems the most basic.

Well what a ho-hum finish. Big battle with the BOS (wasn't even that full on tbh). Get back to the Institute, Shaun says he's proud and just goes to sleep. Protagonist doesn't even show any grief. Just go talk to Dr. Filmore. Main story done. Level 64 and 118 hours. Just ends abruptly with Shaun's passing. Hopefully the BOS or Railroad endings are better.

Officially teamed up with the Institute. Time to do a railroad quest I need to do then I might see how my power armour and shredding mini gun do in their base.

Yesss, come to the dark side.

All are a bit anticlimatic, although the non institute ones have a few more fireworks

My notes on my experience with this game:
- not as immersive as Skyrim
- once you get used to the menus and checking/comparing armour & weapons it's more enjoyable
- I like collecting clothes
- have made my base at the Red Rocket Truck Stop and I keep all my companions there as my special gang
- enjoying the levelling/perk system and format of it on screen
- I like the whole concept of the vault and vault boy as a mascot
- the main story has serious plot flaws and it's a bit disengaging but you get over it
- the Death Claw still scares the crap out of me, similar to the Alien in Alien: Isolation
- love the mini nuke
- I wish there were more powered up boss type characters
- had some serious lols repeating creepy dialogue like when your character asks his companion on how their relationship is going
- the landscape could do with a bit more variety but it's still pretty good
- it's annoying when too many characters speak at once and you can tell what they're saying
- overall I'd give this game 8/10

Your second last point is spot on. Would have someone saying something important to me and some random settler would be saying 'easy livin this ain't' or 'I can't remember the last time I had clean fingernails'

How many locations has everyone discovered? I'm at 299, A bit of googling tells me most people have 315/316.

Is there a check list?

I kinda want an easy way to find out if there's any missions I've missed also.
