Planning on doing some live streaming with this I've never done it before so should be fun. Made a few test videos I think my commentary needs a lot of work I never realised how hard it is to keep talking while playing. Anyway I've finished the main far harbour quest so now just bumming around with the new mods for XBox One what is everyone's favourite weapon in game?

Yeah I personally love the overseers guardian it's OP in the early game especially if you can upgrade it aswell.

So who sold the tools to that Machete Mike dude?
Told him no, then promptly shot him and took his 3000 caps,
Codsworth did not like this

have gotten around to playing this, as of 2-3 weeks ago. am about 50 hours in and finding myself bored.
i've enjoyed it more than i thought i would, parts of it are fun. game clearly weighted too far towards picking up and carrying around crap though.
in terms of progress, i'm up to getting something decoded, but the main storyline is so uninteresting. find myself trudging through levels just so i can make and do different things with the crap i've collected. if only they'd put the same effort into some sort of story as they put into the crafting system.

haven't bothered with settlements, though i've met preston and he's at sanctuary waiting for me to come back and meet him. ironically, think i'd enjoy them more if they were an optional add-on each game ala vegas survival mode, where you could choose to play through without them, or another way needing them.
companions, meh. kind of in the process of heading towards ****ing curie, but that's a bit of a chore too. best use is again, someone to carry all my desk fans.

no mods yet, generally happy to play fallouts without any. dlc looks pretty underwhelming and lazy but will probably buy during a steam sale.

I got chills when the Skyrim music started. Really hope they include some add-ons, even though Mods may make up for that.

As for the building your own Vault DLC, I wonder if you'll be able to breed settlers like you can with Fallout: Shelter? :D

You know you play too much Fallout when you see some vacuum tubing in the bin at work and think to yourself "maybe I should pick that up?"...

PLayed about 15 hours and a couple of things have struck me. I put about 80 hours each into FO3 and NV, although they were both over 5 years ago now and the memory is a little hazy.

1. FO4 is more combat based. I recall being able to resolve some things in FO3/NV without guns. This seems to be gone in FO4.

2. I recall more humour and absurdity in FO3/NV. Like the lil stabber mini game or the Elvis impersonator factions. Does humour play a role in FO4?

3. The special tree in FO4 has been simplified, which wasnt a bad thing on the face of it. But it seems to have taken out some fun stuff. In NV, you could increase skills (as distinct from the SPECIAL tree) by doing stuff. For example I could pick some difficult locks or nail some tough dialogue choices while being at a low overall level because I had worked at those particular skills. Now I noticed some of those tasks are locked off because I havent pumped skill points into it. It just seems more orthodox like a Far Cry type of series and stripping away some of the RPG stuff.

4. Why is karma gone? It had some nice effects.

In short, you've covered everything, FO3/NV are far superior.

Well, two weeks ago having clocked 797 hours and nearing the finish of Far Harbour's MQ, I just...stopped playing. I'm all fallouted out. The urge is gone, Skyrim is beckoning hard, I need TES 6 now
