Really? I think he is the most likely attacking scorer whether it's assists or goals. And is nearly 2.0 cheaper than Tadic.

Even their hardest games Liverpool and Everton I see them scoring in both even if they only get 1 point out of 6

Hasn't he only scored 2-3 goals for the season? Austin is a far more likely scorer for them.

You mean apart from Austin right...

By scorer I meant fantasy point scorer as a whole rather than just goals. Plays 60 mins more often. Scored 1 less goal than Austin. And although he hasn't registered an assist yet he should finish the season with a higher assist total too

Redmond has started every game and has scored 3.

Austin has scored 4 but isn't a certain starter. Started 6/10 games.

Isn't a certain starter? Austin has started 6/10 because he was second choice at the start of the season. Since coming into the team he's started every game.

I'm not talking him down just not as confident in him as I am Redmond. Especially after watching the Chelsea game where Austin missed quite a few Plus my strikers are pretty set so no real need to look at him that closely til just now.

Redmond next 5 should score 1-2 plus a couple of clean sheets. That's going to be more than Payet. As for Austin he should score quite a few too hopefully from Redmond assists.

They do have hull this week so plenty of goals to share around ;)

Can't say I agree with the logic but you're killing me so what would I know haha.
Call me conservative but I don't like going strikers who I'm not 100% sure will start each week they're fit. I ideally play 343 so don't like them coming on for 8 mins at the end of games.

Austin is in good form but was poor last game. If he stunk it up against hull I'm not convinced he starts the week after.

Again not great logic since he should score this week. But a bad day for him is more likely to get him dropped over Redmond. That's just my feel for Southampton and strikers in general when they've got decent competition for their spot (Long expected back soon)

The only other striker in that squad is Long and he's injured. Austin is also a proven premier league scorer and got 18 goals in the PL. He's got 4 in 7 games this season.

Long is back this week or next. There'll be pressure for his spot and if he doesn't (I think he will though) score this week his spot is not guaranteed

Also lets just say the site I use has them expected for the next 5 to go 24.1 v 18.2
What site is this? I need every edge I can get to beat my mates in our personal league.

Will be interesting to see how close they get.

Long was dropped for Austin before he was injured. He's coming back from a hammy anyway but he's definitely not walking back into that side in any case.

Fantasy football fix. Mate of mine has a login which does all kinds of shit for his team. I just manually look at the predicted scores for my players and targets and nut it out on a spreadsheet for my side

Use that for predicted score and fantasy football scout for who has a soft/hard run

So you're saying the four you traded in will score you 24 points, compared to the 18 points the other four would have got you? So you copped a -12 to gain 6 points on the match ups meaning you lose 6 points? What am I missing?

No. That's Redmond v Austin

The other one was a 38 point difference over the 5

Don't understand why people are jumping on Gundogan. With KDB back now he will slot into the middle with Silva. Sterling will be on one flank and I assume Nolito will be on the other. Unless Gundogan displaces Fernandinho in DM I can't see him starting consistently. Unless of course Silva moves out wide and Gundogan takes his place.

Gundogan started against West Brom and Barca despite KDB? And they won both games, so not sure why they'd change that.

He won't play every game but when he does he is quite the option to have as M5

Fernandinho, Gundogan, Silva, KDB and Sterling have only started 2 games together in 6 PL games since Gundogan debuted in week 5 against Bournemouth. I have no idea who has started during non-PL games. There's been three occasions in the last 6 weeks where Gundogan has only started because 1) Nolito was suspended 2) Silva was injured and 3) KDB wasn't fit enough to start (last week).

I don't think Gundogan will start every week but he has looked promising. I think he's more likely to start if Pep plays 3-4-3.
