Glider....please, i has a wingsuit, jumping from radio towers and gliding towards the next ones made it easy to finish them off.

Just bought all the maps for collectibles, looks like i need to set aside a few hours to run around collecting everything.

This process intrigues me, how far do you have to get through to get the wing suit?

I'm dead serious though.

Seems to be so much cranked into one space. I can't move more then 10 metres without getting attacked by enemies or seeing a herd of animals.

FC2 I could travel for ages and not have to fire my weapon.

I'll try liberating some forts. The first one I tried I got destroyed.

First death was r*ped by a tiger who just decimated everyone.

Put about 20 bullets into it's face but that just made it mad.

Revenge on the next one though, I put a mine down and waiting for him to pounce on me.

Swimming in the water and was overshadowed by a huge ray. I thought it was a great white behind me.....

Why dont dead animals show up on the hud?
Anyone else had a glitch were every so often if im in some trees hiding i get stuck and the screen goes crazy and just flicks around looking at the sky?

Not a bad game, kinda a modern day Red Dead but not as much fun, im around 2 hours in and i already kinda feel like i have done it all before, i'll push through a bit more but im just not feeling it atm.

I've been enjoying this game for a couple of days now. Is there any other game where you can machinegun sharks?
I grenaded one, it shot up 10 metres in the air and landed on the beach.

Shat myself today with my first croc encounter

Almost 28 hours played
97% completion
33/38 missions
120/120 relics
18/18 Radio Towers
32/34 Outposts
20/20 Letters
19/20 Memory Cards
23/24 Wanted Dead
12/12 Trials of the Rakyat
22/23 Path of the Hunter
19/19 Supply Drop
14/14 Story Quests
53/54 Skills (have the point, just waiting on a different outfit to actually see the last tatau apply)
38/38 Recipes
43/43 Weapons
12/12 Vehicles

Should get to around 32ish hours I'd say to finish it all off.

Still very much enjoying the story, not sure where it's going to go now it's in it's last moments.

The only real differences between this and RDR is that this imo, lacks the true just go off and **** around factor. When I'm doing something in this game, I want it to have more of a purpose. The good thing about that though, is that the actual things to do in this game are far more fun than almost anything that was in RDR. From the missions, to collecting the relics, climbing the radio towers, liberating Outposts, hunting down animals and collecting bounties. They're all done better for the aspects that were taken from RDR and the one's that aren't are just incredible fun in their own right.

Co op is like fighting waves of pirates while another player does a certain objective that needs covering. Or a competition in who can kill more or whatever the condition is. I haven't had a go of it yet but it sounds alright. Been focused on single player and happy that the beta drivers fixed by fps issues on PC.

So a week ago I would've had no idea what a Tapir was.

Since purchasing Far Cry 3 I've learnt what one is but also noticed that the Cortez from Vice City offers you tapir snout as a delicacy on his boat in a cut scene.

Just finished up the story. Liked the way it ended, chose the 'good' ending, will check out the 'alternate' ending.

Loved the last mission with the epic music as you went through, so good!

Ubisoft credits are also ****ing insanely, ridiculously long. I don't know why I bother sticking through them, if there's anything after them they usually don't skip them if you skip through the credits.

Might very well end up with 2 trophies not achieved throughout this, and I plan on getting all the co-op trophies. Got all SP one's except for the 25 enemies fully distracted by rocks and the 4 enemies with 1 explosion (there's always just 3!). If they're simple enough (since I don't think there's going to be any enemies left now that I have done everything) I might just start up a 2nd playthrough and rush through those to grab the Platinum.

Got to 100% in 28.5 hours.

Yeah, I started a second play through to get the rock one... They must be distracted then go back to their position, that's just a tip.
I only have the co-op ones left. If i remember correctly, I got the grenade one pretty early... Just threw it and BANG about 5 of them I reckon but that was pretty lucky.
Edit: Can't believe you got all the relics as well.... 60 was enough for me :p

I found the relics just really fun to collect. Almost always going to new and more elaborate cave systems and such. Also made me explore far more of the island.

I'll keep that in mind with the distraction thing, I kept killing them as they were over by the rocks, so probably have a small amount of those done.

Best fps i have ever played as far as single player campaign is concerned. I just love stringing melee attacks along they looks nuts.

Yet to try multiplayer but it couldn't be any worse than BLOPS2 or MW3.

I still not sure that this is better then FC2 but am enjoying it. Everytime I get to a new map square I do all the forts and mini missions. Almost unlocked all crafting. Only done about 5 story missions though. Yet to see a crocodile.

They're in the water more then on land so if you're in low water area you'll get bit by one.

I've deliberately swum around the small bodies of water whenever I come across them but still not attack.:(

Has anyone else killed the turtles and felt guilty after?

Yes, mainly because they go in their shells and are so harmless to you.
