Wasnt too sure about getting this but decided to get it eventually. Ordered it through Ozgameshop on release day. I now really wish I had have just gone out and bought it :(

Enjoying it a lot so far, only played an hour or so but looks very promising.

lol at HBK619 being run over by the truck!
Now just two more co-op levels for me to get the platinum trophy
That sonofabitch! I thought I nailed him, then he just sped up and ran me right over.

I just got the Platinum then. Probably the quickest platinum I've ever got in terms of start to finish date on this stuff and I only really needed to go out of my way for 2 trophies. Actually, just looking now Sly Cooper 1 only took me 4 days, while this one took me 11. But still very fun and really just did it all through my normal playing of the game.

The co-op is great too. SUPER buggy and glitchy (the amount of times my RPG has stopped working is so ****ing annoying!). But I love the progression stuff to the loadouts, how using weapons is what gets you unlocks and such for them. And there's a decent story and characters behind it, plus the Scottish guy that's always spouting the c-word.:p

The only problem with this game is the co-op and multiplayer, tried so many times last night to get online and have a match but couldn't, just wouldn't let me join and same with co-op, same thing happens with AC3 so must be Ubisoft.

Multiplayer has some potential, but a decent ping is extremely rare. Best I've had is 2/3 and usually then they are 3 vs 3 games.

Dont like the radio tower stuff, just seems like a ripoff from assassins creed and not needed for this game.
This game is set in current day where maps would be easily available.

In assassins creed maps wouldnt be so easy to come by in that time period, plus by climbing so high he gets a birds eye view of the area so its kind of relevant.

Just no need for it in farcry 3 and its like they thought hey thats cool what they do in assassins creed lets do that.
Should of just made map viewable from the start of game.
Or only viewable after purchasing/picking up a map from somewhere.

Other than that liking it so far.

Absolute joke that you can't play multiplayer offline, would be so fun playing 4-player split-screen on a created map, massive disapointment.

Really don't get game developers sometimes.

But then you cut out some fun gameplay? Making something just purchasable instead of a potentially fun little bit of gameplay would be better for you? Who cares if the conceit is shallow. To be fair, if the 'map' is built on a GPS unit like scheme then getting radio towers online could actually be a semi-relevant thing - and considering you never actually see the physical map in the game, who's to say it's not an actual GPS unit that through activating the radio towers you're able to send a signal out that maps out those specific parts of the map?

If it means I have to partially suspend belief just so I can get a bit of gameplay then I really couldn't care less, it is a video game after all. Wouldn't think many people would have much luck punching a shark to death IRL either, but it's a game!

I personally really enjoyed the radio towers and the increasing challenge that each new one brought, plus the view from the top was often an incredible showing off of the map. I actually wish there were even more of them in the game, because it was just super fun.

Co-op is offline, should give that a go.

I already have but didn't really like it, just don't know why they didn't add offline multiplayer like Halo does, Instincts Predator had it and it was awesome.

Really enjoying this game, working on getting 100% at the moment, on to the last mission before I head to the south island but trying to clear the north before I go there. Knocked out all the camps and almost all of the relics so far.

One question, does anyone know what the last vehical is that I'm missing? One guide said it was a helicopter, do I need to wait until the south island to use one? I've got:

- Buggy
- Cargo truck
- Darrah
- Glider
- Jet Ski
- Patrol Boat
- Quad Bike
- RHIB
- Scavenger
- Stryus
- Technical

Its a wingsuit you get when you travel to the south island

Who gives a shit?

I quite like the radio towers, but god damn, who built them? They're shit. :-P

Got a trophy for clearing an outpost without triggering an alarm. All thanks to a tiger who went in and cleared it for me. Nice.
Tried the bow/arrow but haven't mastered the elevation required to hit targets from anything but point blank.

don't make the same mistake I did for a while with the bow and arrow. You need to be pulling the string right back if you want any power or elevation. I was just pressing and releasing; you really need to press, hoooold, then release

I was doing the same thing. I like how you can pick up the arrows again after shooting one.

Yeh I have been holding aim (L1) the holding fire (R1) til he tensions the bow, then releasing R1 to fire but haven't been able to stealthly kill people at outsposts.

I went to clear out one and I saw a tiger come running in chasing a pig or something, I figured only a matter of time until it goes to the people. It was about 50+ metres away from me, I was crouching in some grass with my sniper out looking, a car drove past me so I took my eye of it, look again and it's gone which was odd as I tagged it. Get up to move on the camp and it's sitting right next to me looking at the camp!!!! Didn't notice me but I filled it full of bullets out of shock.

ok, it's officially official. This game is off it's ******* head. I cannot believe how much fun I'm having. The measure of a truly good game is being able to tool around without touching the main levels, and this game has it in spades. Oh man I'm loving this! :D

This is why I haven't beaten the main quest yet. :D

I keep getting distracted with all the other fun shit there is to do that and busy period at work taking up my gaming hours.
