North Korea customs are making sure it fits their critiera. Expect the ending to be edited to Kim Jong-un dancing in his personal rainbow after he defeats the awful evil West.

Sounds like a good game.

Ffs JB if I pre-order a game online at least make sure I ****ing get it on release.
 
So good so far, only VERY early in (had to turn PS3 off as this weather makes it run like an airplane!).

But there's just so many systems, so much to do and it plays really well (the gunplay is great!).

Also liking where the story could go and how it's started.

How does it go overall on the PS3? Does it look decent, and are there any glitches etc. you have come across yet? I ask cos I am tossing up if I should get it on PS3.

The framerate on the opening cutscenes was abhorrent, but after that it has run nice and smooth.

Otherwise, no glitches and the game looks superb.

Am having a huge amount of fun with it. Already far superior to Far Cry 2. It's basically Assassin's Creed, Red Dead Redemption and the best bits of Far Cry all mashed into a spectacular game. The gunplay is spot on too, same with the stealth and AI.

Add to that, that there's a really decent story going on as well with a pretty unique protagonist and you've got one insanely awesome game!

Also, saw a shark in the water swimming towards me, quickly swam out of the water, turned around and shot the shark dead...skinned it.:D

Yep, was running for my life away from enemies.. jumped into a lake and I only had one way out.. I had to go for shore or turn and die to the swarm of people I had pissed off. I kept swimming and my way out was blocked by a crocodile that was facing the wrong way.. cue me try to go past it before it turned and grabbed a hold of me, I stabbed it after a few rolls and managed to get out of there alive. Didn't skin the bastard though, was getting out of that water quick smart.

Sounds sick. Glad to hear it looks good too, was very worried cos most of footage I have seen looks fantastic on PC. Might just grab it on PS3 cos I know even though I could play on high settings on PC, I just know it will cause issues.

Damn this game is entertaining.

Although I really wish I had a bigger wallet and rucksack. After any small bit of exploration I have both full and have to fast travel back to town to sell off all the loot. And I have no idea where to find the weird animals stated for the 2nd upgrades of both.:( Also want all 4 weapon slots open! (annoying that you have to carry the repair tool around with you in one of those slots too, in FC2 it was just an automatic thing)

It's also hard to get used to the AI's sightlines being far lesser than that of Hitman's which I'm coming off (and still yet to finish). I keep sticking really far back and ducking into cover real fast thinking that the slightest glimpse of me will have me seen and done away with, even though it's almost the opposite (as long as you're crouching in a bit of bushland, you can be about 2 metres away from them and they still won't see you!).

I can't get over how good the gunplay is though, from how janky it was in Far Cry 2 to this. It's one of the best games I've played in terms of how the guns feel to shoot.

It's awesome seeing the wildlife in play just as you're going about your business too. Seeing dogs/tigers stalk and chase down their prey or watching a Croc or Shark just swim around. The world feels so alive with all the different wildlife they've packed in, compared to the 4 or 5 different animals they had in FC2.
