For those of you wanting NBA 2K story mode, you may have your wish.

At least they are trying something new, even if it is somewhat copying 2k.

As others have said the graphics are great, they need to focus on the rest of the game/menu.

That seems far too pre-determined to be playable.

Can't wait for the cutscenes about my form falling apart even though I'm scoring 3 a game.

Guessing Alex Hunter always plays at Manchester United as well?

"He had a wide variety of clubs to sign for" (Start of the video)

So I'd say he can choose which team he wants, if they limited it to just United that would stop a lot of people from wanting to play it.

Looks decent but hopefully this doesn't detract from the development of the manager career mode. I do like that they seem to be putting in models of actual managers, Mourinho is in the game. Hopefully they have Klopp's mode too :D

Will be easy to implement Jeonbuk's manager.

Fix the ******* gameplay and all the other shit wrong with it before introducing this stuff FFS.
Nah, been waiting for a little more depth in career mode for... well, forever.

ugh it looks pretty cool and it's annoying me.

i hope they wanted spike lee's effort with 2k, laughed and do the total ****ing opposite. dont fill it with cliches and hard luck stories.

I just want systems where you can properly talk to managers as a player or vice versa rather than randomly get *I AM HOMESICK I AM LEAVING* and then you offer them a new contract and they stay. Utterly without depth and has been for years.

They should have fixed other glaring deficiencies before adding this.
They literally do nothing but alter gameplay mechanics year after year and people still whinge.

About time they actually introduced a new feature that makes buying this game way easier to justify. Also about time they upgraded the visuals. Graphics have been awful for next-gen standards.

The graphics have never been an issue. It's always looked very good, clean and polished.

If I can do the same thing every match - through ball in the air on the wing, run, cut in, shoot and score, something needs to be done.

I can almost guarantee strength will be the thing this year and pace will be next to useless.

It looks much worse than other sports games like 2K which has far more realistic looking players than what FIFA does. I bought a PS4 stunned at the graphical upgrade of 2K from PS3 to PS4, then I put FIFA in and was hugely disappointed. They've largely ignored graphics for years, a change was needed.

Gameplay definitely needs improvement, but so do modes. Why would they neglect improving upon their modes when they have been neglected for years. You could literally put in FIFA 09 or some older version similar and there is hardly any difference in the modes they've added. Compare that to other sports games which probably make far less revenue for year and it really is embarrassing and a disgrace how much they've neglected it.

If you haven't noticed by the way, FIFA is a real arcade type soccer game. They've always focused on creating a mix between realism and having fun. I don't think we'll ever see a FIFA where you can't get goals with relative ease.

NBA has a lot less to focus on graphically than a football game so your argument there is moot. It's like comparing the graphics of GTA with Gran Turismo.

I will guess the new mode will be scripted as to how it pans out, and people aren't gonna be too happy just being able to use Alex Hunter.

How so? I'd argue that basketball games have more work to do graphically as the camera is zoomed closer to the players than in a soccer game. Elements are all the same though - players, clothes, crowds, nets, etc.
