In career I have given myself a challenge by mistake. Getting rid of players that are too demanding in game time requests AND those that want more money in their deals. I have also transferred a lot of the "star" players to new teams freeing my transfer budget up a bit. Now my team only have a few decent players in the 11...... but it has made overall games much more closer. Going from 2-1, 3-0, 4-0, 5-0+ results. To every game since (4 of them) being tightly contested wins or last gasp draws. Spewing in a way as I was on a 14 game winning streak before this happened.

Scored my first goal from a free kick, a bit outside of the goalie box..... curved it in the top right corner, goalie had no chance.
Demanding players are the worst. My third string LB at FC Köln wanted a wage increase so that he was paid more than my two starting CB's combined. Cracked the shits and demanded he be sold.

Also annoying how, despite finishing 4th in my first Bundesliga season, thus qualifying for UEFA CL, players are saying they're 'unsettled and want out' despite being regulars getting regular game time. Oh well, their loss, no CL for them.

Penalties are bullshit, in the sense that all I have to do is touch the AI in the box and the ref is quickly onto it.

Had a really funny one, players tangled in the box and fell over. The instigator (and last to tumble to the ground) fell like he had just been decked by Mike Tyson and landed head first. Frostbite physics provide hilarious moments. He got yellow carded even though it was more a jostle for position and fall.

I had a random trip over moment when I was getting ready to link passes toward goal, but didn't get a free kick (the right call in that situation).

I had to start career mode again cos the board sold Ozil cos he wanted to leave.

Brought in much of the same again; Cancelo, Romangoli, Gaya, Lemar, Lacazette.

Signed Rashford who scored a hat trick in his first pre-season game.

Deulofeu, Correa, Lukaku,Tah will hopefully join too shortly.

Made it to the A-League grand final from 6th spot on the ladder. Almost pulled off the fairytale win after scoring in the 117th minute, only for Tim Cahill to smack a header in against me and lock it up at full time. New penalty system drives me crazy, couldn't get a grip on it and blew the match.
Even worse, Central Coast's main goal for me was to keep salary growth at 20% and i stretched it to 70% to sign better players, so after losing the grand final, they sacked me :(

I might be screwed at the end of the season, passing every goal except "make a profit" - Melbourne Victory want a 23 million profit........ currently sitting at just over 2 million. I'd be at 10 million or so if I didn't do so many signings for more than I should have!

I think if you pass your 2 minor goals but fail the financial you should be ok! My two minor goals were to win championship and get 10 matches into a youth academy kid, so i only passed the youth goal

Either way I'll still be coaching the Canadian team to WC qualification! I have a lot of youth signed up, the trouble with having backup's of backup players is having too many its impossible to rotate and keep them all pleased with game time. Getting a lot of injuries late in the season though, had random injuries hit in the last 3 games one right at the end, subbed him off and the whistle blew to end the game grr.

I might end up starting a new career as a different team in a different league or focus on FUT for a bit.

You'll be fine, I only passed half my goals in my first season but got kept on probably because I got a mid table team into the CL.

I think I got myself banned from the transfer market on FUT. Hopefully it lifts soon because I'm scraping wins but I'm also running out of contracts haha.

Won FA Cup final in jouney mode.
I played pretty awful, considering the form I was in ever since I came back to Arsenal.
Scored the 4th penalty by it hitting the post and it going in.
Bit disappointed not to score but it's probably the only dramatic match I've really had in the whole journey.
Overall, some of the cut scenes and the story itself a bit cringey but ultimately I enjoyed the story/scenes.

However, the gameplay just playing as Hunter is a few years away from being good.
Found team mates just doing that little dance and then passing it backwards and sideways for 90% of the match.
I guess it's a good start to have the one season but I hope they not only let you play a whole career,
but some big fixes in the matchday engine when you just control your player.
I guess I could've played as the whole team but I reckon that wouldn't be as enjoyable.

Anyway, decent enough start to a "journey" mode.
Ended up with over 50 goals, probably should've put it up to World Class, but just concerned about team mates.
NBA is miles ahead in that though, apart from the terrible nicknames they refer you as.

Back to career mode with Arsenal, will probably bump that up to World Class, feel like I adapted to this game faster
than last year.

Sniping players - you have the potential to be mistaken as a bot. I'm not certain if it's ban-worthy but I wasn't able to access the transfer market this morning so I'm assuming so. I'll check again when I get home tonight.

I had to start again because of this :mad::mad::mad:

Not too long actually, I started playing since release date and I played a few games a day, maybe max of 4 in one day.
I played 4 minute halves for about half the season before changing it to 5.
Definitely faster than doing an actual career mode season.

Cool, I am about half the way through it I think

up to division 4 in pro clubs!
smashing it.

I would always get to about div 3 on pro clubs and then I didn't play fifa 16 at all. now I have jumped back on fifa 17 I am struggling in div 8

yeah i gave fifa 16 a miss as well, hadnt really ever played pro club before too much, but me and a few mates have had a crack at it and doing well!

how many players you got?

it did take us a little bit to find the right formation and player type but once you find what works best for you, wins should come more often.

the main issue we are finding is sometimes the AI for our team goes into full derp mode and have cost us a lot of goals by doing bullshit stupid passes deep in defence and giving away shocking free kicks etc.
