Chad Townsend has a great kicking game.

Its all mental though manly are very tough mentally and dont give any cheap points. If the sharks can match them in the mind I think they have the skill level to overcome them.

Eh? IIRC they led the Storm on line breaks in the first half. Possession too.

Match stats ended up pretty level, which you'd expect for a 2 point game.

Yeah they did, but overall their attack lacked fluency I thought, with frequent misreads and isolated ball carriers. Some decent individual performances; their wingers were both good, but not a cohesive team performance. The Storm looked frankly pretty ordinary.

But......the non biased sports fan in me says " the Knights were just a bit too good on the day and deserved to win "

Well bringing Widdop back at 30% fitness really worked, just saying. We all like how Bellamy coaches, BUT that was a monumental stuff up. Finch would have offered more.

Cr*p Storm fan that I am (only appearance this season was tonight) I have to agree with all this. Newcastle seemed clearly the best team.

With myself its a bit cos over the last few yrs we had Crocker, Matty King ,Ingliss and Lima end up at the Bunnies and ex storm assist coach Maguire at the helm.
Thats a pretty big connection to the Storm.
But yes, not having to deal with other supporters helps

Yeah don't know to much about their fans being in melb,all the ex storm players with them is why I want them to win.

Not sure what was worse. Being at the game watching a terrible performance by Storm - strangely only losing by 2 - or the price I shelled out for my wife and I for 2 hot dogs, 1 chips, and 2 rum and cola's. Nearly $40 right there. Why do I do it every time when I say I won't?


No patience. No composure. Not much support. They looked tired weeks ago.

Does Bellamy rest his players enough?
Do the current forwards need a rocket under them considering most of the backs ran harder and straighter then the forwards?
Do Storm need to buy several young gun aggressive forwards to compete?
Was Widdop rushed back in too early?
Is Cam smith just worn out or thinking about going to Brisbane for big $$$?
How can Cronk go from having one of the best kicking gams to a couple of weeks of it being downright terrible?
Why did Billy knowing he can't get tackled in the air go for a high 'mark' and not a safer chest take?
Why aren't there any urinals in the stadium and only stalls?
Who designed the multi story car park across the road that only has one exit that takes forever to empty?



I'm going for Newcastle. Closest team left that is non-Sydney.
