I remember standing in the Freo store, really wanting one of these. But my mum insisted that a woolen, long sleeve one would be more practical. Plus I think my dad knew how ghastly that jumper really was.

Jayden, son of Brad, Bootsma played on my footy team last year. He would wear his dads long sleeve version of this to training. I considered offering him $100 for it.

Without any tags/numbers/sponsors, I don't see why you'd have any problems finding a company that could whip that up for you in a jiffy.

I had the last Fitzroy jumper on my watch list on ebay for ages and always put it off in favour of other guernseys. Now, it seems that they're out of XL. Does anyone know what sort of quality the jumpers from the Fitzroy store are? I'm thinking they may just be un-numbered versions of the VAFA jumper. I'd really like to get one with the AFL Centenary logo, but may have missed my chance. Nobody's fault but my own...

fitzroy shop in mordiallic has then $100 from memory also sells the 96 pre season jumper...

Present jumpers: am thinking of getting a GWS jumper.
From other leagues, definitely want a Box Hill jumper.
One thing I'm very happy with was the Southport Sharks jumper I bought from their Web site in 2008.

The funny thing about that one is that it was never an official Gold Coast guernsey, it was just the one their old mascot GC or Gazza (Changed the name BEFORE Ablett announced he was going there!! ) used to wear and a guy on Wikipedia made a full scale version of it and added it as Gold Coast's official guernsey.

I have an adult S one of these, its a great jumper and got a good 7 years wear out of it. Unfortunately it doesn't look as good as it was when first bought because it has the iron on number which came off a number of times and had to be iron on again

Did they ever make Purple Haze jumpers for the public?

Prior to the introduction of the triple v design, the only Freo infant jumpers available were Purple Haze ones. I know some old training jumpers came close.

pretty sure they did make replicas for the public, I remember I was going to buy one in 2009 I think. They only made a certain number of them at the start of round 1 (or round they wore it for)

Always wanted this. I was at the Port V Carlton match at AAMI, I think it was in 2004. We got pumped, but it stayed in my head.

actually i have a footy white whale. a magpies jumper with standard chartered sponsoring. there are loads of great pics of it in the new since 1870 book and it looked fantastic, simple, went with the jumper.. this is the best i could find online but you can tell it says standard on the left and chartered on the right.
