Let's hear it folks: where did you first get rat-arsed?

Me, it was with 4-5 mates and a carton of Fruity Lexia  behind a dumpster in the grounds of Glenelg Primary School - immediately after lenelg had just beaten the Roosters in the '85 Granny. I was 14 at the time.

first time.

I was 14. It was at my friend Patrick's house in Fitzgibbon, QLD. Pat, myself and a female friend named Sabrina got arsed on Jim Beam and long-necks of VB (as an ex-Vic, it was my job to avoid XXXX) brought by Pat's older sister.

Hot nights, too much booze and a rotating cast of accomplices was the order of the summer from that point on.

U15'S Cricket trip to Melbourne.
Had the chocie between a sixer of VB or a sixer of West Coast Cooler. Being the young idiot i was i was coco after 4 westies. Threw up and was in bed catching Z's before 9pm.

Do they still make West Coast?

15th B'Day after a self hosted BBQ, with two mates still around - we all opened a bottle of Bacardi and a bottle of Grant's belonging to my parents and proceeded to get sh*tfaced.

Good times, good times :)

Umm I got quite tipsy off one pot in the Marnoo Hotel one day at the age of about 10 when Maori's Idol won something (the horse was owned and trained at Marnoo).

But properly drunk? Glen Aire camping ground in the Otways NYE approx 14 years old.

A mate and myself shared a bottle of bushmills irish whiskey stole it from the old man's bar then took off to the leopold footy oval. I was 12 at the time. To this day i cant remember much of what happened other that dad being more upset that his whiskey had been drunk more than the fact i was drinking under age.

Id just turned 16 and it was at a friend called Rachels 16th party. Me and 2 mates bought a carton of Lemon Ruskis. I had about 12...got very drunk...felt awful the next day - so much so i went to church for the first time ever to avoid going home until the hangover had died off a bit. Was good fun. Enjoyed it so much me and my best friend Natalie ended up doing the same thing each weekend down at the Grande at Glenelg until we turned 18. Funnily enough never got asked for ID once in the close to 2 years we went there underage.

I was 14 and it was out at my friends farm during her brothers 21st. A few of us flogged a bottle of Southern Comfort and got ****faced behind the bails of hay.

We killed a snake with the empty bottle too :)

Ahhhh (fuzzy)memories!

I was 5 yrs old, at my folk's friend's party. I can't remember a thing about it, but my mum said she found me crissed as a picket in the backyard, with a bottle of red.

Ahh great times............

Thompson's beach?

i was 16 and all i have to say are two words
passion pop :p
was at my friends house warming, and when she moved out two years later we found passion pop bottle in the backyard :p

Aged 9 at a wedding.

Made friends with some fine young men manning the keg in the backyard.

About the same time I would also wander around my parent's parties and blokes would say "Want a drink young man?" expecting to give me a shandy. But I was quick to observe what was going on around me (despite Herb Albert & the Tijuana Brass) and always replied "brandy and dry, please".

Yeah they do. Apparently when I was 2 my mum would drink them sometimes and I'd always steal them cos I loved the taste so much! Don't think I ever got drunk then though.

First time I was 14 and a bit and me and a mate when to our friends' place (they're twins) for a farewell party for their older brother - who was leaving to become a jockey, for details sake. So there was only us four and their family and friends. We started on Baccardi Breezers I think and so we had a few of them. We played a bit of pool and stuff then we got their brother's mate to go and get us the biggest, cheapest bottle of Vodka the bottleshop had ... So in the end, three of us (the other spent the whole night on the phone chattin up some guy) downed this massive bottle of vodka in two hours out the front of their house. Me and the mate I came with then walked home ... surprised we made it but we did. I remember waking up in the night and the room was still spinning, haha. Woke up feeling terrible the next morning.

I was just on 15, New Years 99/00, and got well-smashed in the Riverland with my cousins off Beam & Coke and red wine. For some reason, we had acquired these adult wrist-bands, which allowed us access to the hotel's nightclub, whilst the underage locals were on the outside looking in. Good times, rock and roll.

Went to Heathcote Park Drags with my brother and some mates (brother drove). I can't remember if we drank there but we did in the car - got completely drunk and threw up at my mate's place when we got back to Melb. His mum wasn't happy!

Circa 1978, 15 years old.

At a friend's 18th party. I was just 16. I'd gotten tipsy before that, but had never gotten really drunk. Don't remember how much it was I had to drink now, but I do remember I'd been drinking Cruisers and Breezers (ugh). Spent the night chasing after my Grade 3/4/5 crush, who I hadn't seen since he left in 1995, proclaiming that I loved him. :D Ended up picking up this guy who used to go to my school (which made me the butt of many jokes for the next month). I was very sick the next morning, and then I had to go babysitting that day. Oh joy. :(

Not sure if it was the first time or just the first time that I remember:D

When I was 17 I left my job on the railways. My friends had a ****up for me. I got absolutely stonkered. They had to get a hose and hose me down at one stage. :p
