i voted hunt because he had some small exposure to AFL before moving to the code. Falou gets talked up because he can sometimes take a big grab in an NRL game when the ball is bombed forward.

afl players do this consistently and are often a lot smaller.

it will be interesting to see how he handles his body and downsizing it.

I have not seen to much of izzy play but Hunt aint going to be no slouch.

Anyone who has seen him play obviously has no watched him outside of his first 3 VFL games, or has not seen him train.

He is a natural Athlete, skill levels pretty much already close to where they need to be, and beats most players in one on one contests.

Lacks a little bit of awareness at stoppages, but that's something he is working on heaps at training with the coaches.

Don't expect miraculous Brownlow medals or B&F's but will be a consistent player in our top 22.

Folau is younger, bigger, more athletic, if he sticks to AFL for a decent enough number of years (and if the AFL sticks with him) he could develop into a good CHB who could pinch hit in the ruck.
Is going to be very interesting seeing them both develop over the next few years. It could be an absolute bust or it could pave the way for future league/union players to consider our code.

Folau.

Hunt will be better up forward, however, Folau has the makings to be a dominant CHB.

The rules keep changing making it difficult for the average defender, but folau has the ability to out-body an opponent without even touching them. If sheedy (or whoever coaches them) has the balls to chuck him in defence, expect Folau to rack up 30+ possies a game and win the brownlow

From all reports he is coming along well. Game awareness is always going to be a problem, you just cant unlearn old habits and AFL is such a 360 game. However, he will worry with his tackling pressure for sure.

As for Folau, has a great leap and has strength, would have been a gun in the 90s, not sure if the speed and stamina of the game has left big blokes behind these days?

They should Folau in key position role up forward where he can contest and leap against others. He has big hands and is clean with the ball.

Both of these players IMO will need good players around them to take advantage of their impact on a contest. Just dont expect them to dominate on their own. I beleive they can force a spill in a contest situation but will need others to mop up or bring them into the game.

I believe Hunt will be a decent player of top 22 standards. I don't think Folau will be very good though. Doesn't seem to have the endurance or skillset to make it. Time will tell though.

Voted Hunt because of previous AFL experience :S

IMO Hunt is more professional, and will be better for it.

Voted Hunt.

Impossible to tell for a long time. Will be funny if they are spuds and end up being paid a mil per year to play in the 2's, I guess it will show how much more skilful AFL is compared to that other crap
