Foley All Australian?

I think with out a doubt Foley should be included in the All Australian team this year but they probably wont select him as they only select thier favourites.

Agree All Australian selectors like to see at least two solid years to avoid a one year flash in the pan player getting selection. As an example Pettifer was touted as AA material at some stages last year, his performances this year are testament to why the selectors want consistent year on year perfomances

Is No. 1 in the AFL for cente clearences, that is damaging, gets first use of the footy for the tigers and gets the ball moving towards our goals. Better than 21 kicks accross the backline, uncontested possesions

If he ran the season out in the form of recent weeks he would go mighty close, but its pretty hot competition. More likely they'll pick Kerr even if he didnt pick up a kick for a month

I said up until the Saints game didn't I? He was definitely damaging in that game but up until then not the game breaking midfielder the AA selectors look for.

foley has a chance to get aa now that he has become more dangerous with his run and carry. previously he was more of a ball winner, but now he look like he has stepped up in the last few games.

Can't think of many players who've played well in every game bar one for the entire season (SO FAR).
If he gets it, he would have well and truly deserved it. Somehow think they'll go for established players though

excellent season, and deserves a best and fariest award - but highly unlikely to make AA - g.ablett -judd bartel are all well ahead of him and that is the competition - may make the bench at best - if the selectors are feeling charitable to a young trier.

If he develops to his true potential he will be the next Judd,Foley is a super star in waiting IMO he was great against the Aints.
