Not only do I have to put up with this poor excuse of a football match between Port and the Saints, I then get to watch the same crap again half an hour later on channel 10. Meanwhile the doggies are piling on the goals at the dome and I cannot see it.

Can someone please for the love of God fix this. Who do I complain to about this? My local MP? Maybe the only way we could get it fixed was to take it to the 2020 summit.

Move to the Queensland. Eight live games a week:thumbsu:

BTW, you are right, the Port v St Kilda game is a snore-a-thon.

The sad thing about this is that Demetriou was a guest on KG and Cornesy's show and took questions from callers. There was one caller who questioned him on this exact point and Vlad had no idea what the caller was on about. Neither did the "gurus" for that matter...but what's new.

Dinner... yummy

Surely, in the day and age of multi-chanelling, it would be a perfect opportunity for 10 and 7 in WA and SA to show the game they have rights to on one channel and a FTA broadcast of any Foxtel games involving their local sides. That would be too logical, wouldn't it?

You would not think that was too hard. For instance tonight 10 had IPL 20/20 on 10HD. I am assuming however that programming comes out of Sydney. Does anyone know if local stations are able to show different content on the HD channel to the network programming?

forget the tv - south australia's inability to attend strikes again

20k crowd at the game...flooding to hell

they may as well have played it at hindmarsh, game would have looked the same and at least it would have been a sell-out.

Whoever schedules the games over this way is ******ed. I would like to be able to keep track of every game, but thanks to the bloody T.V networks, not a chance.

Half the victorian clubs wouldn't average 20k if they didn't have away attendances propping them up.

Considering the weather, live tv coverage, poor quality opposition (it was always going to be a scrappy game thanks to the Saints), long weekend, Chelsea v Man United on TV (personally I know of several supporters who didn't go so they could watch the premier league) it was a decent crowd.

They're able to - I think there's varying schedules tonight as a result of the different times for footy earlier, but there are some restrictions on anti-siphoning list protected stuff (AFL) being put only on the HD channels - so maybe the MP would be a good idea if it's the law that needs changing.

Having said that, in normal circumstances (i.e. no IPL and F1 to fit in like they have tonight) they'll usually show a movie repeat over a replay of the network game so maybe they think we all want to see what KG & Cornesy tell us we want to see

Who are you trying to kid? Your attendance figures were as pathetic as the excuses you've posted here!

How are these reasons any different to the valid Adelaide FC supporter complaints?

eg official complaint to the AFL re live TV against the gate for the Crows first 9 matches. If you guys were selling out games, then who cares about the live TV coverage?

eg every time you get less than 40K to a game, then often you blame the weather. Why shouldn't we have the same for crowds less than 25K?

Everyone knows of the 70-30 split in supporter base between Adelaide and Port Adelaide in this city. 40K Adelaide crowds vs 25K Port Adelaide crowds are a even reflection of the club's ability to get people to the games. Why do Adelaide supporters continue this petty line of trolling?

That is one option. The other option is how they used to have it withe the fox footy channel. When foxtel had that channel they were able to vary the coverage to cater for each state, last night for instance they would have picked up tens coverage at the dome. Now that it is on fox sports for some unknown reason they are locked into showing whatever game they cover. Angry man.
