AFCON 2027

Can roo2macca and his Ivory Coast team finally make inroads at a major tournament? They finished 3rd at the last tournament and have not won since 2015 - is this there year?

They started solidly in the group stages, easily progressing to the next stage with two wins and a draw.

Next stop was the Quarters for Captain roo2macca and his team. And another good performance easing past Guinea-Bissau to make the Semi Finals

Unfortunately, Ivory Coast didn't decide to rock up for the semi and after 36 minutes the game was decided as Ghana smashed three goals past their hapless defense.

Ivory Coast learnt from the previous game in the 3rd place play-off and hit the ground running kicking the only three goals of the game early, effectively killing off the game after only 20 minutes.

Their conquerors Ghana kicked a late goal and held on against Tunisia who finished the game with 10 men.

ASIAN CUP 2027

Australia: brahj , Van_Dyke , Andonis1997 and A Bit High

Two easy wins and a high scoring draw saw the Australian team ease through the group stages in great goal scoring form.

Uzbekistan: JT_the_Man

Only one win, but the draws they got were enough for Uzbekistan to sneak through.

2ND ROUND
They left it til late, but a match winner in the 86th minute by Brahj meant Australia made another Quarter Final

A hat-trick scored in 22 minutes by Sergeev meant that an early conceded goal was easily made irrelevant as Uzbekistan beat China 3-1 and moved on.

QUARTER FINALS

A demolition by Australia as Captain Van_Dyke watched all of the attacking Sweet FA players find the back of the net in a 4-0 drubbing. Semi-Finals here they come.

It went to extra time due to a 90th minute goal by Uzbekistan, but Japan scored just after the restart and eventually ended Jt_the_man's tournament in a closely fought defeat.

SEMI FINALS

All the bookings. 11 players between both teams found themselves with a yellow card as Iran ran out eventual winners after an early goal and a second half penalty cancelled Australia's only goal and ruined there chance of back to back Asian Cups.

No transfers to speak of... plenty of teams still in it regards titles and European titles.

END OF 2026/27 SEASON

A four-peat for Manchester United as they lost only one game for the entire season. Manchester City were second, but there was a bit of a drop off for Chelsea and below.
Golumless , Blacky and dennis crumpet have been apart of all four titles.

A bit more variety in the Bundesliga with a change at the top in a very tight finish. Not final until the last day - GN80 and Leverkusen took out the title by 1 point of RBL - Bayern finished 3rd, only 1 win away.

AS Monaco had the better Goal Difference, but the fact that PSG did not lose a game for the entire Ligue 1 season meant they took out the title by 3 points.
Fryer Tuck , Andonis1997 , Thatsapaddlin and HaroLad were all part of the victory, adding another trophy to their cabinet's.

Real Madrid were the strongest team all year in Spain and they were deserved of the title, which they won over Athletico and Barcalona.
roo2macca and JT_the_Man were integral cogs in the season long triumph.

This was the first season that someone from the Sweet FA Academy played in the Italian league and it ended in disappointment for Noobz0r and Juventus as they finished a distant third. Noobz0r obviously impressed as he was offered a new three year contract at the end of the season.

FA CUP
The Sweet FA Academy team is eleven years old, they have won League 2, League 1 and the Championship and made Europa once - but undoubtably the club's best ever moment occured this season when they beat Newcastle 3-1 to take out the FA Cup and hand pantskyle his first top flight trophy.

EUROPA

Despite a very disappointing season in which they finished 7th, Tottenham were solid in Europe's second tier competition and dogs105 and Elton Johns Wig were part of the side that won 3-1 against A.C. Milan.

CHAMPIONS CUP

Two years after there first victory and despite being down to ten men for the majority of the game, Manchester City outlasted Athletico Madrid to collect a narrow win. Loonerty and Van_Dyke join a rare club with at least two Champions League winners medals.

TRANSFERS

Despite both being want-away during the last season, Tottenham winning Europa seems to have quelled Elton Johns Wig and dogs105 desire to move away with neither changing clubs in the off-season.

If fact the only move was by brahj .

The icon of Bayern Munich made a highly publicised $118 million move to Chelsea, with the Australian forward joining A Bit High and Spookism of Stamford Bridge.
Brahj spent 8 years at the club and played over 300 games (in all competitions) and collected The Bundesliga twice, one Europa title, A Champions League title and a few German Cups.
While his output has been a bit lower the last couple of seasons, Brahj was runner up at the Ballon D'Or twice and Chelsea will be hoping he brings that form to the Premier League as they look to regain top spot and have a successful European campaign for a change. ​

Mexico spent the off-season break trying to win back the Gold Cup.

dennis crumpet made the journey to the United States, while GN80 did not make the squad.

A very disappointing group saw Mexico still make the next stage despite winning only one game - if fact they were the only team in the group to collect a win.

A first half demolition by Mexico saw them easily progress to the Semi-Final's finishing the game with three goals and knocking out Trinidad and Tobago

Going into the game full of confidence, Mexico would have been hopeful of progressing to the Final. However conceding 2 goals in the first thirty minutes, Mexico continued to fight hard but could not get over the line...

No Transfers.

Can Manchester City (Loonerty and Van_Dyke) win their first title since the Sweet FA era began? They are in the box set with a game in hand and 6 points above second place and likely the only other challenger (Quivorir, brahj and Spookism)

Juventus (Noobz0r) sit a distant third and will be hoping for a miracle in the last fourteen games.

Could Real Madrid's (roo2macca and JT_the_Man) era of dominance be over after what looks like a second straight season going down the ladder?

Same old, same old in Ligue 1 with Paris St. Germain (Fryer Tuck, Andonis1997, HaroLad and Thatsapaddlin) on top, could AS Monaco (SM) cause an upset in the last third of the season?

Bayern (tgrs) are on top of the ladder, just. They are goal difference above RBL, with Leverkusen (GN80) sitting third still with hopes of going back to back.

END OF SEASON 2027/28

Despite Van_Dyke 's tears, him and Loonerty backed up last season's Champions League victory with Manchester City's first title in the Sweet FA era. The finished 16 points clear of second placed Manchester United. With Chelsea 3rd.
pantskyle and the Sweet FA Academy appear to be the new Everton with yet another decent mid table finish.

So close for SM at AS Monaco, but perhaps unsurprisingly Paris St. Germain won Ligue 1 by a meager 2 points giving Fryer Tuck, Andonis1997, Thatsapaddlin and HaroLad there umpteenth title.

No luck over in Germany for tgrs (Bayern) and GN80 (Leverkusen) as RBL regained the title in the Bundesliga.

Noobz0r is enjoying his time in Italy, with a lot more game time than at Liverpool - however his team Juventus could only manage second in Serie A - a distant 10 points behind Inter.

roo2macca and JT_the_Man hoped that Real Madrid would return to the top, but their cross-town rivals again beat them to the Spanish title.

Champions League Final was a replay of three seasons ago with the cross-town rivals from Manchester at it again.
Looking to go back to back, City went in full of confidence. However, United were looking for revenge against the team that beat them three seasons ago and finished there era of dominance in the Premier League.

An early goal for Manchester United had them on the front foot, and despite equal footing for the rest of the game (stats wise), the controlled the result and a second half goal gave Manchester United (Golumless , Blacky and Dennis ClarkeM ) the Champions League title.
