INTERNATIONAL UPDATE

That was probably the final World Cup for most Sweet FA players as they will be 35 years old by the time the next one roles around.
The players are enjoying their hundreds of thousands of dollars per week to retire from football at the moment, but a few have hung up the boots from Internationals.

Despite Ivory Coast making the World Cup roo2macca retired before the tournament joining Scottish hero's Quivorir and spookism in no longer playing on the International stage.
Irish player SM also retired and he was joined by Uzbekistan's JT_the_Man - unsurprisingly both player's countries failed to make the World Cup.

After the World Cup A Bit High and Andonis1997 decided to hang up the boots for Australia, probably ending their Golden Era. Combined ABH and Andy played 289 games and scored 224 goals (ABH 142/136 and Andy 147/88) Belgium's Thatsapaddlin also decided to play for club only in the future.

You told the club to **** off and trade you - it could be worse, you could have done a HaroLad and not played a game for two seasons
I'm on $400,000 a week to do nothing.

Doesn't seem to bad.

Although I'd hate to be living in Paris in 2030.

TRANSFERS

Two players were desperate for a change and fortunately for both they got it.

Elton Johns Wig finally got his desired move away from Tottenham, although he may not get the titles he was dreaming of as he signed for Villarreal. A team that has finished no higher than 4th in the last 14 seasons. Time will tell.

HaroLad became the first Sweet FA Academy player to go out on loan. His high wages and long term deal made his fall out with the management at Paris St. Germain difficult to find a new home.
After two season's of literally doing nothing - Haro has found a new (temporary) home at French Ligue 1 strugglers Real San Sebastian for a season...

Time will tell on Quivorir and Dennis ClarkeM as well as they enter the last season of their current contract.

Despite a late goal by brahj Chelsea were beaten by a Liverpool side featuring Quivorir who proved to be the difference with a goal and an assist. Meaning A Bit High and Spookism have again failed at European level, while that was Quivorir's first major trophy.
