Good habits to get into. Doesn’t really matter the grade you play, kicking match winning goals is good for the confidence.
best part was that he could have handball it off but decided to back himself

Huge signs for him to become a key player for us in the future.

Especially after that atrocious turnover in a similar situation a little earlier. Seems like he learned from that.

hahaha best thing about that video is the goal umpire

Very true and Webbs pass to Schache got there quick and was so well weighted.

Webb needs a good 5 week stint in seniors

Who kicked it to Schache? Lovely weighted kick (I’ll give the benefit of the doubt it was intended and not just a hoof forward) - arguably better than Macrae’s on the weekend when he hooked it to Honeychurch.

EDIT - mental note read post immediately above before posting!

I loved the kick and believed it came from Webb, however, it was not better than Macrae’s from the boundary to set up Honeychurch!

Had macrae not taken so long he could have had a far easier time kicking to a wide open Baily Dale on the opposite arch who made a lone run following macrae from the opposite wing all the way down until he was in the goal square, waving his arms like mad with no one around him. I and those beside me were very relieved when he found Honeychurch. We all collectively sighed thinking the opportunity may have been wasted. And would have been had he not weighted that kick just right. Half a second later and half a meter longer or shorter and it would have been spoiled. Great moment in the game.

Macrae’s peripheral vision wasn’t at its best on the weekend.

A few nuff nuffs on our Board (me included) have an issue with our Club not putting up a full replay of our VFL games.

Out of interest do you get to see a replay of your VFL games?

God no. We're lucky to get an awful 1 minute highlight clip and a dodgy 2 paragraph article. It's horrible coverage from our end.
