Fremantle BF 2010 Buddy Draft - Draft Order/Rules

Send them back to school more like it. Can't even read :D

You did make things a tad confusing by posting the draft picks thread already though.

Still i think they deserve to be harshly punished. Maybe swap them with 2 people in the low-to-mid 50's...

If I didn't do it now. I'd forget :o

If I add Harvey to the list it will probably mean some players will miss out. I'd rather have every player selected first before any coaching staff.

Now I don't want to pretend to know how much of a task this is going to be organising and maintianing this BF draft, and the last thing I would want is to make your job any harder than it will/already is/be. But I think that it is imperative that he is included in the mix.

If playuers missing out on a buddy is your main concern, then just limit the number of double ups to 2 until every player on the list in picked up. Once every player on the list has been picked then open up the number of double ups to 3. That way it will also allow some of the people lower down on the list at least some hope of getting a player that they feel they can truley get behind throughout the year.

OOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRR

you could just give ME Mark Harvey, seeign as I asked the question about if he was available and therefroe should get first dibs on him:thumbsu:

So basically what I'm saying is that you put me up to the Priority Pick place, thereby not affecting the actual draft order besides the people behind me who move up 1 spot. And give me Mark Harvey, seeing as that's who I want.

Make it happen:thumbsu::D

Me PP: Automatic Choice: Mark Harvey
Pick 1-10: open slather and dradft continues as normal:thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu:

if anyone selects kepler before pick 42 or whatever i have i promise i will find your house and set your toaster on fire

i can offer you toaster insurance for the low proce of $10,000 per quarter, per annum

Hmmm, a tempting offer.

But you say per quarter, yet my toaster breaks down to six pieces, and breaks down completely when I try to put in muffins (I have to sidle up to it slowly from north-west-by-north-west and be vewy, vewwy quiet).

And, quite frankly, I was disappointed by the $10,000 premium - yes, it's competitive, but identical to what SeaGleIO are offering their WC members! Fellow Freo supporters deserve better!

I agree. Basically these rules give no chance at all to us in plebsville of the draft. If that is the way it is then fair enough.

Surely the fairest and funnest system would only allow the first round to include one full squad. Then the second round another full squad etc.
It would keep it interesting till the end.

I reckon this pretty good - but I am at pick 66 :)

On the other hand, given our rookies are pretty strong and we have a lot of youngsters who are developing so aren't really part of the best 22, I cant think of too many players who I wouldn't be able to support. Poor old spud might not get much love though.

a lot of us i reckon, myself included, would tend to go for odd ball choices anyhow. ive got my eyes on someone like the buuc i reckon. so i guess it depends on what you consider a good choice

yeh, agreed KPR. I'd like to see more of Bucco and would be happy have him as my buddy and Walters and Sibo are a couple more guys I'd be really happy to support. Any of the new draftees. After clearing a lot of deadwood out over the last two years there are a lot of options

I nabbed my first choice (Suban) with a pick in the 20s last year... with one in the 70s this year I've got no chance of taking him again this as I would have liked to do. :(

Poor me. :o :thumbsd:

That wouldn't be the fairest way for people with picks in the late 30's and 40's though. That would effectively make their picks worse than most of the people after them.

No matter which way you do it some people are going to be disadvantaged, that's the whole point of having a random draft order.

People with crappy picks (like me) just need to suck it up and hope they get a better pick next year.

No thanks, Pick 90 SUCKS enough on it's own!!! Sibo, my soon to be rampaging Sibo. Please hang around!:(
Soon to be Official # 4 Buddy of Sibisado:mad:

There's only 3 available of each player so good luck being his no.4 buddy.

Maybe I'll get to be his official #1 buddy this year? Though there's a couple of other players I've got my eye on too...

Alright I will just suck it up. I can fly the flag for anyone. Maybe big Kep will sneak through.
