Simple poll. Ill place in my opinion of each teams best forward six and ill take on opinions of bomber supporters to try and make it a fair poll. By future I mean in say two to three year times when current younger players come of age and current players are still in the mix. I guess you could call it a prediction :D

Adelaide

FF: Porplyzia Tippett Jaensch

HF: Henderson Walker Knights

Essendon

FF: Davey Hurley Zaharakis

HF: Monfries Gumbleton Jetta

Up for changes :thumbsu:

Hurley will end up back. Much better suited down back than forward.

Adelaide.

I'm not sure who will end up forward in the long run for us. Neagle is going to be given a chance again and Ryder looks dangerous everytime he plays forward.

Essendon by a whisker.

As a pair, Gumbleton and Hurley have the talent to be better than Tippett and Walker.

You'd take Hurley ahead of Walker if both were available in a draft.

The OP is deluded if he/she believes that Jaensch and Henderson are better footballers than Zaharakis and Monfries.

Obviously opinions will waver but I dont think i ever said that collectively either forward line was better... but anyways ill bite :D

Having watched Walker for a while now and knowing that Adelaides backline KPD is in pretty good shape for the future... I dont think Adelaide would pick Hurley. But that is my opinion. I say this because offensively I think Walker has the greater potential. Hurley is a good player no doubt but I think Walker would have had a better season to date if Adelaide were actually playing some good football. When we are, its hard to stop Walker kicking goals, it just comes naturally for him.

As for the comparison between Jaensch, Henderson and Zaharakis and Monfries... Id agree that Monfries is a far greater little player than Jaensch and has greater potential but as for Henderson... This kid has enormous potential and I can say Ive watched Zaharakis play but Henderson just has that something about him. He's almost KP size and can has enormous speed. Think a not as good a mark but much quicker, less frustrating Burton :D.

I chose Essendon because their forward line is slightly less boring than Adelaide's.

............and let's face it, if Hurley and Gumbleton reach their potential then they will also be the better of the two.

I think both are destined to be second tier forward lines.

Havent watched much of Adelaide at full flight have you . Pretty sure you're side would kill to have Tippett up forward but anyways.
