Yep, the Collingwood site has stuffed something up there, I hadn't changed the link they've just changed the image.

Jackson Starcevich played 2 games for East Perth Colts in the the WAFL this year apart from school footy.

Jul 17 vs East Freo - 3 kicks, 3 handballs, 2 marks, 4 hitouts, 1 goal 1 behind
Aug 28 vs Claremont - 7 kicks, 1 handball, 6 marks, 3 goals 3 behinds

here's a youtube vid of an east perth presentation after his last game, he got 2nd best on ground... start watching at 5:40 for Starcevich, he's got some good height and has only just turned 17, so draftable next year and still elligible for Colts in the WAFL

Thanks For the Video Mate:thumbsu:

FWIW, someone who watched the Sydney Under 18 grand final this year told me that Nick Perry was absolutely outstanding.

Apparently Elijah Edwards will be attending Scotch College in Melbourne next year. Should be good for him if it's true, but I'm just going off what I've been hearing, so no definite confirmation yet.

Wouldn't surprise if he is on one of those indiginous scholarships that Cyril Rioli went there on... pretty sure Lance Franklin has set something up with Scotch to help indiginous kids.

Then could he play VFL for Collingwood then?

Even then, I'm not sure if we'd want to play him there. Young's a pretty solid size for a kid so you wouldn't worry about him getting knocked around, but Elijah is pretty small and from reports hasn't grown much, so it might be better to ease him in the traditional route if we can. Still a while down the track so we'll wait and see.

Would Elijah play in the TAC Cup Then?

Would Elijah play in the TAC Cup Then?

If with Scotch then being part of the APS will miss parts, but not all of the season because school footy takes precedence over TAC Cup.

Andrew Gaff + Sam Crocker did that for Carey. Mitch Wallis + Tom Liberatore did for St Kevins. So it's not the end of the world.

What is Wrong with playing Both?

Good point, the wunderkind is probably capable of playing in two locations at once...

Look I could be wrong here but I think that's for people in the tiwi islands area in NT. Not sure Franklin set it up either.

The scotch indigenous program is mainly based with the Tiwi islands (footy tours every year up there) however Scotch do offer indigenous scholarships to other areas. Franklin helped promote the program last year by coming to the school and spending time with the indigenous boys.

On Elijah Edwards, I have no more news other than that Scotch have offerered him one (99% sure) whether he takes it or not I have no idea. You would think it'd be great for him in the long term, so it's all up to him and his family.

What is Wrong with playing Both?

1) The School's don't allow it.
2) Games could be scheduled on the same day or in the same weekend.
3) They only really play TAC during school Holidays.

It's been happening for years. Sandy Dragons and Oakleigh Chargers have the biggest number of players missing from their lists due to the number of Private and Independent Schools in their zone.

They normally go through the junior development programs and play in the u/15 and u/16 schoolboys carnival and then once they are good enough to play in their first XVIII that takes precedence- heck, Xavier didn't let Luke Ball play for the Saints and he was already drafted!

hey guys does anyone have any idea about how hartley, yakimov and carracher are going? how do they stack up? are we likely to take any of them next year?

also going by carracher's age i'd assume he finished year 12 this year. we could do a tom young with him if we think hes gonna make it
