Bit over all these threads coming up. Most people have stated they rate Martin the best young talent in the league, so is it really necessary to compare him to each other young player individually?
I want both.
We could of had both...
Griffiths could be very special. If he stays injury free and gets anywhere near his potential we have a beauty.
Maybe Fyfe........ just.
Prolific ball winner, can kick goals and has amazing overhead abilities. Also a larger ceiling in terms of physical development.
That said I expect Martin to be recognised as one of the games better mids within the next couple of seasons.
Nope. He's already one of the games better mids.

Nope.
You are confusing being in great form, with what I said.
Play this way for the rest of the season and he will be on his way.
No, not confused at all.
If you'd troubled yourself to actually watch Martin play you might be a little less confused yourself. Your use of the careful phrase "one of the better mids" interests me. I'm sure you'd assess Matt Priddis as "one of the better mids" and it's obvious to 99% of the footy world that Martin is already a better player than him.
I know you're starved for success and all down at Punt Road but you guys are getting ahead of yourselves. Martin has shown in the last 3-4 games that he has taken a big step forward. This does not mean that he is yet one of the better midfielders in the league (let's wait until he's done it over a sustained period of time) and no, he is not better than Priddis yet.
