Nah its gone, my guess is that Fred deleted it, he wasnt to impressed with some of the trolling of young BettsMagic and a few posts were deleted. Was a great read though.

To be honest, if I am taking the spot of an active poster, I wouldn't have any fusses playing off the bench or forward pocket/wing for the first game.

Nothing against you WTS (besides supporting the scum), its just that there have been guys posting here for a long time. My problem is with the leadership not rewarding this. So what if a guy comes in here and posts well straight away, whats to say he wont vanish in 3 weeks time

Take it up with Ninty/Peterss they're generally the ones that produce the gameday lineup.
I'm sure if you request a move to midfield in future you'll get it. Although personally HFF is a pretty sweet spot, you rack up numbers with the chance of kicking a massive bag of goals. On a good day a HFF gets more involved than a guy named on the centre line. Didn't you kick 5 goals and ~20 possessions one game Marklar. What you whinging about the sim loves you

Im happy enough to play HFF...love to get a run somewhere else occasionally and maybe earn a midfield spot next year but a first gamer in the middle...?

I had no say in the team selection for this week.
Ninty is the captain and picked the side this week as he does most weeks....Yes it may see a little unfair to some but lets get behind WTS and hope he has a fantastic debut for this great club.
I guess our problem is we have that many quality players who can play in the middle and perform well that regardless of who plays through the middle there will be some players not happy thay they arent getting a run their etc.....Trust me continue to post and perform well and youll all be a part of the midfield rotations for the rest of the season.
That said............ITS GAME DAY SO FIRE UP!!!

Sorry for the slow reply about WTS.
But I do apologize to anyone that has felt let down by my decision on naming the team this week. Looking at it on paper it looks like a very strong team.
Now, I know it was a big move putting the new recruit in the centre first up, but I did promise WTS a midfield role if he signed with the Gumbies. We lost a good poster in CTT, and WTS has been very promising so far.
This week I thought I'd give it to him to see what he can do, he's played the game before so it's not like he hasn't had any experience.
Before you start getting upset with me, I'd rather you PM your thoughts than make it known public. We are a great team posting wise and if you feel like you're getting hard done by, or want to play elsewhere, I'll happily try and make it happen.
It's just hard when we do have all these posters too, not everyone is going to be happy when they want the same spot. Hell, I'd be happy to play on the bloody interchange bench if I had to.
Next week there will be a few changes again, if you want a change, remember to PM me and I'll see what I can do.

Marklar, let me tell you a story, which I was reminiscing with my wife today.
I once played in a team where the captain/coach and I did not get along. I was better than the Saturday amateurs they played me in but they wouldn't put me up to reserves or league.
One day we were playing a game at Maddington (scum suburb here in Perth) and one of the local lads was going to take out our captain/coach. Now, I had a decision, I could let this scum king hit the captain from behind or I could protect me. I chose to have some fun and absolutely shit mixed this guy. It was the first and only time I recall the captain smiling at me.
Next quarter the white board shows Swannies at FF, yes, FF (I loved the forward line). Anyhow, I was on a strong lead from FF and this same guy I had shirtfronted into next week the previous quarter, was coming back with the flight of the ball. Now, to the amazement of all and sundry, this guy did a U turn, like an MTT bus though, and proceeded back towards the centre square. He copped a ribbing, not only from us but from his own team as well.! Ah, those were the days, but you get my drift? Always, and I mean ALWAYS, support your captain and team mates, no matter what.! It WILL reward you in the long run, look at me, I have a great story to tell now!
