That's exactly what Fages meant in his post-GF victory speech when he said 'we model ourselves on you' to the Cats.

Getting a manufactured pick from the Eagles just like the Cats got from the Suns to make Jack Bowes a Cotton On ambassador is just the start.
Geelong = Illuminati confirmed
Lions = Opus Dei

Join the dots sheeple:

Darcy Fort and Linc McCarthy = Rothschild puppetmasters

since our Brisbane overlords have joined us as fellow Chief rorters of the AFL can I please ask that you spare a crumb of premierships in between 3-peats? We don't have any Ashcroft sperm to boost our playing stocks

You are the 50th basement dweller to make a similar comment. "People are upsetting me" = "haha I bet you're da Catman".

Wow. I’ve never seen anyone else make that comment. Perhaps most of you are just giving off those vibes.

Lightweights. When they win one by 20 goals it will be legit

There's only 1 Grand Final record margin season and the plebs couldn't even get close to matching our biggest and best rort. 2007 the year of domination.

119 Point record margin which is not even close to being beaten, record number of 9 All Australians from one side and if you include the coach make it 10, the Brownlow Medal winner, AFLPA and AFLCA Award Winner, Rising Star winner, Norm Smith Medal winner, VFL team won the Premiership.

Elixuh and his boys need to step up their game. Get some fresh land deals going.

Geelong are way ahead of their time in terms of manufactured picks. See the Motlop compensation pick (which was the same as we got for two time B&F and AA Tom Rockliff) to facilitate GAJ going back to Geelong.

One day we'll get there!

Go look at what we got for losing him in the first place.
This is the potential GOAT and we got what for losing him?

And STILL won the Premiership after he left, now imagine he stayed?
Could have been a dynasty run.

Tisk tisk

All of this sorting and Geelong still can't win the premiership.

But they still remain in the headlines for all of the wrong reasons (OH&S by being negligent with Cameron, Mad Monday-gate etc).

As Derryn Hinch would say

SHAME SHAME SHAME

Well of course we aren't gonna win by SORTING

It's called RORTING.

No wonder you lost in the Prelim to a 35 year old, can't even post correctly let alone beat the Cats nowadays when it matters ;)

We can't all get the perfect education from Geelong Grammar now can we ?

Also that same 35 year old did nothing but kick the ball out on the full a week later when it actually mattered most.

To think we turned Steven Motlop into Gary Ablett Jr & Jeremy Cameron just goes to show how elite our list managers are. For our next magic trick we'll turn Rhys Stanley into Charlie Curnow and Will Ashcroft ;)

Do we add Garry Lyon's best player of the year award on Fox Footy to the list of rorts?

With Rowell leading on 11 votes, the last game for the Cats scored Danger 3 votes, propelling him to 1st place by 1 vote.
Not sure how the voting system worked, but a system that gets Rowell a total of 11 votes over 25 games, but can award 3 votes for best on seems odd to say the least. Gerard also decided late in the season that the voting would continue through to finals (excl GF).

Danger's prize? A nice, shiny new Ford Mustang...

Now, I'm not saying that Danger's game against the Hawks wasn't worthy of 3 votes, although I would have to understand the voting system to truly comment on that, but it does seem odd that a player, who isn't even the best player on his team, could somehow be voted the best player in the league and the prize just happens to be from his team's long time major sponsor...

The guy who just came 10th(?) in his club's B&F apparently had a better year than the guy who won the Brownlow and won his own B&F.
Danger had his lowest disposal average since his 2nd year in the league (2009).
He didn't rank in the top 50 in just about every major category.

That rug at AFL House is getting awfully lumpy.

Apparently Danger had already been driving the Mustang around all year

next you'll be going after golden fist winners, I'm assuming you're being facetious but if you're not.. why would Geelong need rorts to pay 35 year old Dangerfield of all people? Do you really think he's getting offers elsewhere?

What does it have to do with Danger getting offers? It's effectively a bonus outside of the salary cap.

How do you explain any rational person coming up with Danger as the best player in the comp this year? It's beyond the realms of possibility. Do you think he was even remotely close to best in the league? Top 10 even?
Nobody could mount a legit case while keeping a straight face.

oh you were being serious lmao :drunk:

Half serious.
Surely even the most die-hard Cats fan can admit that Danger being named best player by anyone this year is extremely odd at best. It's so far out of the realm of reality that it simply raises eyebrows and questions. How else do you explain it?
Can you mount a valid argument that it was deserved?
