We've copped an absolute hammering injury wise and could already be at the tipping point.

I can see why you play Mullin and yet I'd much prefer to see O'Sullivan get a gig.

In:
Duncan
Bowes
Bruhn
Conway
Atkins

Out:
Dangerfield
Stanley
Mullin
Knevitt
Parfitt
that is literally changing the entire mid unit bar Blitz

And, in many jobs, two weeks leave per year.
Not sick leave. Not annual leave. Just leave.

* me, what a crazy place.

It is…we have good things and some not so great. Don’t wanna hijack the footy forum with our ills, just happy I found this great sport five years ago…

With you man, it's the same here except we're a couple hours ahead of Aus. Nearly impossible to watch weekday games. Too bad they couldn't delay the game a couple days, we've got a four-day holiday weekend next week. :)
Tom's big kick to win came on a fortuitous landing of the lunar calendar holiday. The wife and kid were away to in-laws and I had the house to myself. Might have startled the neighbors after the siren though. ;)

BTW love the avatar :thumbsu:

Thanks lol, that’s one of my favorite guitarists, the great Canadian Alex Lifeson!

because it's hawthorn ticketed and they have 70k+ members. it wont get 100k because they wont all turn up.
This is very true. Rekon there's quite a few that haven't turned up since we were good around 2018. Hopeless bandwagoners who aren't real supporters which is disappointing to the true supporters there through thick and thin. I'm happy to sit through some years of mediocrity knowing what came before it. Onto Monday we should be competitive at the very least after the pressure being put on the group internally and externally but I feel we will fall short by around 4-5 goals. Need our best players on the park as our depth isn't that great ATM.

Young Geelong ruck Toby Conway will play his second AFL game in tomorrow’s Easter Monday meeting with Hawthorn at the MCG.

Coach Chris Scott has confirmed the 20-year-old, who made his debut in the final round of the 2023 season, will take the place of veteran Rhys Stanley.

However, Scott says there’s no injury issue for the 33-year-old, who, along with Zach Tuohy, didn’t participate in this morning’s Captain’s Run.

“We manage our list; that’s just the way we operate,” Scott said.

“There’s no point waiting until halfway through the year before you start that process.

“It just makes sense for us with that five-day break to start a little bit earlier and getting it rolling.

“There will be very few players that play every week for us this year.”

Mitch Duncan, who was a late withdrawal from the win over Adelaide after his wife Demi went into labour with their fourth child last Friday afternoon, is expected to return.

Tom Atkins, Tanner Bruhn and Jack Bowes are also in the mix to take on the Hawks.

“We need work to through the exact makeup of our 23 at the moment,” Scott said.

“But there’s a whole range of players in that conversation, albeit for different reasons.

“You have guys like Tom Hawkins at 35 and Jhye Clark at 19 … the end result is they will all come out at some stage, within reason.”

Ironically there's a Hawks fan on BF with the user profile which describes what is happening here perfectly but would be unfair to tag him
Well now I have to see it 😜
Copy description from profile, leave his name out, should be safe 😉
