agree its gonna be tough for chook to get in but higgins, simpson and smith are all outisde players and chook is an inside player

These guys are old and well past their best - if Constable does the work he can get in and keep his spot.

We are going to overpay for Higgins and that really grinds me - a bloody 33 year old - I mean come on.

Constable is one the slowest, least damaging midfielders I have ever seen.... I'd love to be wrong about him, but I won't be... My eyes don't lie to me as stats do.

30 would be higgins and 13 and 20 cameron.
15 and 51 our 2 picks maybe unless we have more outs..i doubt we would use more than 3 picks in any event.

Ralph reports us as 13 and 15 for cameron...


..if so our first pick is 25 plus... almost a waste of time considering our attitude recently. We preobably pick another pressure forward pocket. Its highly unlikely that any one picked at 25 plus will be able to make an impression in the next two years ..based on our in's.

it all just confirms my negativity to chasing Cameron and trading in the first place. StK at least said ..if we don't get X as a FA we walk.


Even if we keep 15 ... its pressing our luck.. can we find another kid like SDek? Its unlikely , SDek was not our first choice last year

The Fogerty trade isnt as bad as people are saying, we basically got pick 40 for him and likely get Higgins.

Out: Pick 38 - 465 Points + Fogerty

In: Pick 30 - 629 Points
Pick 51 - 259 Points
Total - 888 Points

888 - 465 = 423 = Pick 40

By the time its being taken .. we may be using 30 ..at 38.

Fair point but our midfield is plenty old as well aside from parfitt - the point still stands.

so because he knocked us back last year as a FA .. this year its cost us a kid we drafted early 20's ... I can see how this makes our best22 potentially better no doubt ..if he stays fit ..and if it all syncs.
