All we are saying, is give Chook a chance

The temperature's rising
His possessions are high
Can't see no future
Can't see no blue sky,
His legs are so heavy
And so are his feet
I wish he was a runner
he would have everyone beat

Cold Chook has got me.... thinking trade

I dont know wtf is the issue - but clearly something aint right.
I go back to start of last year and he was getting 30.
Now he's not - playing off HBF -and I dont get it.

They did a similar thing with Smedts and he was played out of his natural position - but CC was succeeding naturally to our eye - must be something i disnt see. Either way - he's gonna get frustrated soon.

I don't get our need to play guys out of their proven positions, then be surprised / judge them harshly when they don't perform so well in their revised role.

Maybe it'd be worth giving players tge role to which each individual is best suited, rather than trying to reinvent the wheel.

Novel concept I know.

I don't think we can play menagola and Charlie in the same team.

Last year CS and the MC said Charlie needed to work on his spread from the packs etc.

We drafted Kennerly as a mid who's been tried at HB .

Hopefully Cooper can come on later in the year.

Where is Fog at injured?
Fogarty played in the VFL on Monday and played a full game

Good hopefully he can get back it he's best in the main team.
The problem with Fog is the same with Constable, our midfield bats too deep for them to get game time in there
Fog can Atleast play a FP role but then again he join the long list of small forwards playing for Geelong who can’t kick the ball 50m
It’s something I wonder has been spoken about.
Miers, Dahlhaus, Parfitt, Ablett? Atkins, Fog
It hurts a structure when a lot of marks are taken between 40-50 out and we need to try and find another target in the F50

Well thats a good reason to placer a higher priority on kicking skills. There are always reasons players slip, its a matter of if you can live with those reasons.
And once we decide we have deficiencies , we seem to over recruit. Fogarty may well be another Spriggs. Since recruiting him, we have so many options for the FP role.

With three R1 picks atm... we should be a good chance to get 3 names in this list. Hollands may slip now he has done his knee..

Bruhan and Henry would be the key Falcons based on this early list but there always surprises. He has Walsh in the 30's

Has that table been colour coded by the Federal sports minister?

Unlucky if the u-18s get called off and we need to take the 3 picks based on last years form. Hopefully Wells spent more time with an eye on the future than the other recruiters did last year.

They can run something later in the year I'm sure. Shorter tourney etc.

I'm interested to see if there's an impact to draft order

Pick a number if fit for the year..how many will he play this year? I doubt it will be double figures.

at least 10 I reckon if fit. we have a lot of competition for mid/fwd spots but they rate him.

I will go <10 I don't see who he replaces but as always a good game can change ones opinion.

I think its more likely a big body like Stephens get games. Pressure for opportunity is good.

The real question is who can we target for ruck role, cause we will have to target someone. IF we have a Stanley and Fort have a Vardy and Simpson year.. we will be a dogs breakfast.
