BB Big BullshiterI'm displeased too and it takes alot for me to agree with the poster now known as BB.
My understanding our postion was 19 or 22 but 22 was to include (I think) a 2nd or 3rd rounder next year. If all we got was 22 we clearly caved and we have a history of doing it.

Realistically he is backup, so if he plays 12 games each year thats fine. If he plays no games because Stanley is killing it, thats fine. And if he comes in because Stanley is injured, well we are better off going through a season with Cegs as ruck rather than relying on Esava and the kids, who are absolutely not ready.

Can only hope Ceglar is more Paul Salmon than Hamish McIntosh - he’s younger than the fish when he crossed! At worst, place holder until Neale or Tsap are ready. Have a look at Haw v Syd this year if you get a chance - 35 hit outs, 20 touches & 11 clearances.
As for Clark, lost me completely with that lazy snap against Melbourne. Doesn’t surprise me to read he may have attitude issues. Move on, wish him well and fingers crossed we get a better player at 22.
Stengle as a free hit an absolute no brainer. At this stage is a Coodabeen who is young enough to still get there, the opportunity is certainly going to present.

Geez spare a thought for Freo then, picked Cerra at pick 5, put 4 years of development where he was actually best 22 and finished 5th in B&F and all they get is pick 6 (which will turn into pick 8) and a future 3rd. Doesn't make a fringe player seem that bad does it

Alot in that age are like that...different landscape.
If we are going to have the club and players come out and say we are going to have a crack again, then have a proper crack. Pathetic trade period for a club who wants to have a crack again, why didn't we trade in a midfielder that's 21-24, who can make an instant impact. Why didn't bring in ladhams, lynch or sweet? We get big cegsy, who's not as good as Stanley.
We are investing in the draft, what for? They won't play the kids anyway. We lose Clark for pick 22, how's that going to help us next year?
Unless we play narkle, constable in the midfield, what's going to improve from last year. Selwood is going to drop in performance, so is Higgins, so Is danger, so is hawk, where's the improvement coming from???
If youre going to tell we are having another tilt at least do it properly and not half arsed like this is

The Baggers will make the 8, so we're talking perhaps late 50 to 60 or later. Still think we wilted. 19 has some advantages as I understand it - being the 1st 2nd round pick. Is that so?
We are talking Freo. Another 70 very forgettable games.

Im guessing 32.5 because he will be subbed off in his first Freo game with a busted shoulder!!!
