First sign that Mackie isn’t straight out of the Wells mould?Don't get cute, just offer 18 and a future 1st for Henry and Bruhn and move on.

First sign that Mackie isn’t straight out of the Wells mould?
Trade Radio Matt Rendell saying we offered Pies p38 for Henry accusing Mackie of lowballing teams and that other teams are pissed off and may not deal with us down the track. No round 1 offer for Bruhn either. Rendell is urging clubs to reject our offers and call our bluff. Now stating that other clubs want Wellsy back because he got deals done. Also saying Cats want way better for Esava than what we're offering for either Henry or Bruhn. He's daring Mackie to let the players drop into the preseason draft and good luck getting them with p18. This dude is bagging us big time and boy I reckon he's got some nerve. I think Mackie is being smart, just reflecting proper value knowing it's highly likely both Henry & Bruhn are probably 1 full season away from being in the team on a regular basis.
He should of taken it one step further and offer a pick we don't even have.Andrew Mackie was a legendary sledger and troll. Did anyone think he wouldn't have a laugh while going about things?
I do too. It's no secret I'm a huge fan of Esava's and will be shattered to see him in other colours.
But if he's decided it's in his own best interests to seek a trade, it's understandable as he seems to have dropped out of the selection frame. The club will make it happen.
Whichever way, I hope we get to see him playing at the highest level consistently, as he is a delight to watch.
he sounds drunk... been at the pub with slobboThe smear campaign is on in earnest!
Matt Rendell is unemployed.
And I love it. Of course they want Wells back. We always complained because Wells paid overs to get the deal done quickly. I am happy for a bit of haggling and stand off.Geelong pile on continuing on trade radio from Rendall. Apparently Mackie not easy to deal with and clubs wish Wells was back.
He won't go unless we get something we are ok with. He still has a year on his contract and as such Geelong do not need anything other than what fits with what we are trying to do. We don't need any late picks this year for example. Perhaps a F3 next year but that would be about it.

Now offer them some meat and a dental check up.

Ollie Lord for Sav [emoji16]We're very thin for key position depth. No way should we just give Sav away like that.
Get them a blender. Both superfluous when you have no teeth
Wonder what the apparent low ball offer of Bruhn is/was
TR was saying Port are going to ask for an exemption so they can trade Fr1 and Fr2
Nah no word other than pick 18 most likely being involved.
