Having a look at that the otehr day ... FA market ...not sure about that ..who is in your mind?
What I would say ... the last two or three years now...we have seen sal cap dumps happen. We may not have picks...but with retirements ...if we have cap room then you can add players so how.
Did anyone hear the Goddard story today ... about him and SJ. ..when SJ was asked if he wants to be traded to GWS ? Show how loose it is some times... getting phone calls when you are full charged , loosing phones and chasing limo drivers.. No wonder the deal did not happen.

No i wouldnt offer 2 2nds for henry (i honestly think we can get him at #25 in the ND if he wont sign at pies) without pies sending something back which is tricky bc we probably arent using more than 2 picks this year. So itd have to be something like 25 and pies fr2 for henry and fr3 from pies something like that. I honestly probably wouldnt offer even that much i still think 25 and 58 gets it done.

They can piss and moan all they like - we're still the 2022 flag winners and will have Bowes, Pick 7 and Bruhn at a minimum
We can always restructure our list. Right now we have the maximum number of listed players but we can reduce that and carry more rookies. That’s probably a better strategy than drafting late picks and bringing in depth free agents to cover delisting/retirements next year.

Mmmm, I'm not so sure about this one...it's all been a bit odd this trade period. Bruhn the only straight forward one, but everything else, it's been strange...Even Cleary said it would be done on late Friday/early Monday...yet today, crickets. Really strange.

The only issue is we arent using more than 2 picks imo so if we end up with 7 25 and 33 33 is dead to us. So i reckon we only trade sav if theres a pre agreement with coll eg 25 and 33 for henry and 41-7 and 41 as our 2 picks.
Or we only take 33 if theres a club that will buy it off us for a future r2/3 which would be better to give us a future pick.
People lambasted me when I originally suggested that, haha. I think that's fair, but who knows anymore - just wish it was Wednesday night already!!

Yeah our two picks would be 7 and 41. 58 and 64 would disappear unless we trade them somewhere else (in the henry deal or into futures).
