How close to Geelong was Cadman born?
He's been touted as the next Joel Selwood... 2 or 3 is a bargain. Should be Numero UnoIt depends on where they want to call him. They have 2 and 3. Be a brave call calling him that ealry
The only issue is we arent using more than 2 picks imo so if we end up with 7 25 and 33 33 is dead to us. So i reckon we only trade sav if theres a pre agreement with coll eg 25 and 33 for henry and 41-7 and 41 as our 2 picks.
Or we only take 33 if theres a club that will buy it off us for a future r2/3 which would be better to give us a future pick.
Very, very, very long odds they take Clark with one of those early picks.Has North Melb secured itself young Jhye Clark by the latest trade...??

People said that after previous trades and get too hung up on the "here and now". What picks you have in future can change very quickly from one year to the next. We've also got retirements looming which frees up cap space, and then there's free agency, players and pick swaps etc. Take this year for example ...... if we were discussing this 6 months ago we would not have expected Jack Bowes (for top 10 pick) to join the Cats and bring Pick 7 with him.we are Mother Hubbard in 2023 but yes the ins are good
JHF was highly touted too until North Melbourne Norhf'ed him...He's been touted as the next Joel Selwood... 2 or 3 is a bargain. Should be Numero Uno

Geelong have made an artform of not getting hung up on going to a draft fully loaded with picks they have no intention of using. Keep your powder dry and keep an open mind to possibilities that emerge.
I’d do that to put the ball back in their court. If they don’t agree we’ll offer 7, 25 for 5 and then offer them 33 for Henry!!
No that is this year 33No use taking that if Collingwood wont take it FWIW... Or is that for a F2 P33?? If so that takes care of the GCS.
33 from Port for Sav looks like the deal now

No port cant trade their fr2 (locked as fr1 gone) so it would be 33 this year.
We would only take that from them i think (as we using minimal picks this year) if pies agree to take 25 and 33 for henry and a later pick..otherwise we might just keep sav.
After Ashcroft & Cadman...Very, very, very long odds they take Clark with one of those early picks.
I'd think Tsatas would be a safe bet for them, then they take their pick of Wardlaw or Sheezel (assuming GWS take Cadman prior).
WC want Buss?? Hewitt?? Do they think we want Buss, might trick them to pony up something ?Deep breath. Every year is the next "XXXX". The kid Cadman is the next Cameron
What today does ... is it might allow an in draft trade with WC... if they want to get to 7 ...
We do need him, he is a ready replacement for 32yo Rohan24 + 33 for Ollie Henry seems like a lot to give away for a player we don't really need. I'd rather swap them for a future late first for 2023 or two early 2nd rounds for 2023. At least we'd have something to take to next years draft to trade for a key position player.
Yes u have a point.. But they might be better at handling a Victorian kid without that mantle of Numero Uno.JHF was highly touted too until North Melbourne Norhf'ed him...
That is exactly the scenario. No port cant trade their fr2 (locked as fr1 gone) so it would be 33 this year.

The MEGA DEAL has been done
I just have doubts on Norths ability to create a winning culture. Even getting Clarkson I had Norths ceiling of success at MAYBE a PF if they were lucky. Its a poorly run club, shit facilities, small crowds, constantly sent to places like Tassie to play, and if you are talented after a few years you will get the option to go to a bigger club if you want.Yes u have a point.. But they might be better at handling a Victorian kid without that mantle of Numero Uno.
Gibney might be as good or better than both. After Ashcroft & Cadman...
Those mids ranked by Deore, Twomey etc etc... are all the same Tsatas/Clark/Wardlaw/MacKenzie/Phillipou/Hewitt/Humphrey.
Throw a blanket over them. Tsatas can go 2 or 3 or slip to 6 TBH.
Humphrey could go 3 based on his upside even Wardlaw could and probably should slip to 7-10 mark with his inability to get over a succession of hamstring strains.
WC want Buss?? Hewitt?? Do they think we want Buss, might trick them to pony up something ?
Yeah not sure.
FWIW i think Cadman is a beauty for a big forward that has a few strings to his bow.
That seems a bit we would have given up for Henry
Any other club swapping 1 for 2 and 3 would be a win in my books. And Ports f1 next year could be good too because I don't rate Port.Looks like norf got bent over
