Kolo is an example I would give as cumbersome and slow of foot and mind.

Now that we are gonna have 7 and 23 i'm all about sticking fat with our picks. Don't move Pick 7.

Draft Sanders or O'Sullivan with that pick and try get ZZ at 23. Add TOB and Harmes for depth.

Boom! Offseason done, add Clark getting proper run as well as Conway to go with our Draftees. We are set.

Its about point this year imo. The performance of Will Graham now put extra pressure on their points requirement. Perhaps we can find anotehr club willing to trade a pick in the 20's for our Fr2.

Yeah I do know what you mean by that. He needs to not follow Kolo's footsteps in refusing to fly in some contests where it is entirely appropriate to do so. I thought Henry found his groove after that Port horror show, but it's up for debate whether he could replicate that in the true CHB role.

Getting that defensive mix right and having players perform to their best is going to a huge determinant of our ceiling in 2024.

I really would not bet on what we get as compensation. Going on Doedee ..you might be right... but by next year ..and the increase in contracts..who knows. The whole thing is a cluster muster

Nah can't be expecting anymore than Pick 23 for Sav - regardless if that ends up as Pick 32-35 in the draft.

Allows us to get a Stevens, ZZ, DeMattia, C. Edwards type at that pick - which is a huge win, IMO.

It sounds expensive, but clubs pay a premium for these picks. It happens every year.

I think 9 and 25, or 9 and 22 more likely.

But either way we're relying on Adelaide being after a very specific player. If that's not the case, there's no reason they'd pay anything to move up 2 spots.

Adelaide board/insiders have said they're pretty keen on O'Sullivan, which is where I'm getting my info from. Couple that with McAsey and Doedee gone, and it's not out of the question that this is who they would really want.

If we could land Wilson and ZZ/C. Edwards/G. Stephens - I'd be very happy with that outcome. Use the Sav pick for one of the remaining two, and that's a solid draft.

Really? I see it much differently. Pick 14ish for Pick 22 and 26ish...which would be more like Pick 35 and 30 when all the other BS is taken into account.

If they fall, it's an awful trade. Only good part is, is if it secures them all the players they're after.

Pick 22 will end up around 30 and next year who knows
But yours is a half empty view and mines half full. But I do understand
