Taylor Walker apparently told people at a function that the crows were all in on O'Sullivan a month ago
Yeah that's one of the rumours. Makes me think the Crows are the ones that will want it on trade night. Unless we get offered ridiculous overs, we won't trade it before then.
What he is worth is debatable. You say he is worth 22 plus. They say he is worth a pick in the 30's. Geelong and Port come to an agreement etc. Remember Geelong have limited hand in this ..he is OOC

I want to walk away from the draft with a combo of Sanders, Caddy, Wilson, O'Sullivan, ZZ, Hastie and Stevens. Obviously you wouldn't take Stevens if you take Sanders. Probably not ZZ if you take O'Sullivan.
If I had to guess, I'd guess that O'Sullivan will be gone before our pick so Adelaide might need to trade up with the Dees or GWS to snag him.
We might miss out on that nice split with them... still a chance though and can't be discounted atm.

He is a 25 year old, athletic, 195cm key position defender coming into his prime going to a team that desperately needs what he has to offer to be a chance for a flag. If they do not cough up I would send him to the draft. He will not make it through to Port. They trade appropriately or miss out. I would take my chance on us having to take another late pick.

When the port guy was interviewed this morning he said they were happy for Duursma to explore his options. When asked if he was going to the bombers he said Duursma had not indicated that, did make it sound like the bombers may not be his preference.
Would be very happy with Sav for pick 22 and Duursma. I’m hungry and I need some steak knives!

Geelong rarely if ever are not practical. Something is better than nothing. If Port are denied Sav... they have lost not but oppituniity...we have lost a player for the pick we refuse. They would do what they had to do to get 22. Adding a late future to it would be preferable than walking him to the PSD

If #23 or Duursma isn't coming to us in the Sav trade then another option is obviously Port's F2 (which clearly isn't good).
But Port now hold Freo's F2 which you would assume is gonna be better than Port's F2.
Still #23 this year is probably better than either of those F2's.
Duursma is an interesting one... He was an absolute weapon in his first season... Not sure if he can turn back time though and improve on recent years form.

Only way I see that is if they're talking a 3-way trade involving Essendon
Reports earlier today were that there's been strong talk been Duursma/his people and high ups at Essendon
Not sure I've heard too much actually linking him to Geelong
Yeah I heard him just talking about it and he mentioned 2 recruiting managers had mentioned it to him so it's a real thing.
Thing is... The FA compo is calculated on this years ave wages etc... but with the new CBA the player wages is going up.
So clubs are paying more because the cap is going up, but it has not been added to the compo formula and it has had an impact on clubs getting better FA compo.
Just another thing to be annoyed about with FA compo.
