He’s 54 years old, what’s your point?Nick Riewoldt style… yeah right. He would be cooked after 10 minutes. He is a leading type player from full forward.

Asking a baby giraffe to play in the ruck when he is 21 years old is very different than asking a prime-aged ruckman to play a hybrid forward/ruck role. The irony is we all know how Hawkins went when forced to play ruck at the start of his career. It certainly wasn’t good, but it doesn’t mean he was a bad, selfish or inherently lazy play.
Yet when Grundy is forced to play forward..
Before we brought Cameron in, Hawkins did roam outside of the arcs a lot and would receive on the wing or even half back. His goal average would've been higher if he stayed deep ala 2022, but we needed him to be a dual FF/CHF. The issue is when he got it outside of 50 we then had no one for him to kick it to. Maybe Rohan in 2019 but that was about it.Nick Riewoldt style… yeah right. He would be cooked after 10 minutes. He is a leading type player from full forward.

Drugs, Breaking people's windscreen wipers rampage, kicking in a wall. Why is oliver considered a “train wreck”?
Because he had a seizure?
Yeah I don’t think he smashed the indicators. Just the wipers.Depends firstly on whether you believe it was indeed a 'seizure'.
Also depends on what you believe caused it.
Think you'll find a lot of people are cynical about those points.
Then he's gone and smashed car mirrors etc.
Think the indicators are there.

They would need to start with the coach. Huge problem at the club and potentially pissed away a dynasty
On Gettable, it's mentioned we have a fair amount of interest for our pick 8 including interest from Carlton, Crows, Norf, Sydney and West Coast.
Got potential for a big return here if we play our cards right here on trade night if we aren't looking to take anyone.
Depends on what you class as big return. Carlton cant offer more than 22 28 and a late r1 next year-nowhere near enough.
Syd may offer 12 and a future 1st..an ok return but not a great one.
If adel offer 10 and 20 or 10/14 and a future 1st that would be a decent return (and i can see us doing it).
We are only really going to get a 'big return' if wce or nm offer us a future 1st for 8 as that would be a likely top 5 pick.
Will be interesting to see what happens.

If it’s WC I’d be cheeky and request a FF plus 23. Who knows, they might jump up the ladder next season…![]()

100 %. Bartlett was right but he was driven out.

Ya. North would be thinking they can grab it without trading their own FR1. They'd be thinking they can get it with a mix of later picks this year.Agree, Crows/North/West Coast that involves a f1 is what I'd be starting with.

Wouldn't touch Adelaide's FR1 with a 10 foot pole by itself. They're likely to win 9 of their 11 home games and a few on the road for mine. Again however I think it's more likely they're trying to get it with a suite of picks from their hand this year.
WC doesn't have the draft capital to trade for it outside of their FR1 at this point in time. They're future pick would be amazing. I think what might be on the cards however is they use the picks gained from moving out from the first spot in this draft.
Just my 2 cents
I can’t see north or WCE trading a future first for pick 8 when they’re odds on to finish last next season.
Last year they were excellent. This year they had no hand to play. Does that mean he gets replaced. Supporters are strange.
I don't disagree, but he's not a well boy at the moment, and he's definitely not what our club or more easily influenced younger players - Tyson Stengle as an example - need.
At his best he's an absolute A grader, but he's going the way of Ben Cousins at the moment.
