Good Draft Picks!!

Seems from all reports that we did well from the draft.

We got 3 guys over 190 cms which is good as we need some new key position types. We also picked up two midfielders who were expected to go earlier. Lets hope the selections prove to be winners like all the other recent ones weve made.

you have picked up a good one in michael davis, he has an insatiable work ethic, will run, run,run, has fantastic skills and great hands, unbelievable he was taken at 74 when he was a all australian rep, ais player vs island, third in the sandringham dragons b&f he missed the first five or six games and did not do the preseason with them and he made the tac team of the year. I have played footy with him as recently as 1999 and he is going to be a superstar, brisbane stuffed up with not picking him,

I hope you are all right, but the reality is we won't know for another three years. We were stoked about picking McAister at number 4 a few yars ago, and hes done sweet F.A.

Travis Johnston from Melbourne who was a number one pick, hasn't shown he is going to be anything more than a normal, run-of-the-mill senior player. And Where is Brisbane's Des Hedland ?

If two of our 6 picks go on to become regular senior players, this is usually a good return.
