Was worried half way through that last quarter when it was less then a kick in it, but we were fortunate enough to get the goals when it counted

Great game by a lot of your young guns today and despite the doom and gloom you still continue to have the makings of a good side in the future

Good effort guys

Cheers Kane ... do you want another namesake ?;)

I was just happey we did not try and shut the game down and went pound for pound with the best side in the league ... was really pleased with that

Good effort. Impressed with JON, Polak and Edwards today. Foley is fast becoming one of my fav players in the comp too. Love the lil guy

Good effort against the benchmark fella's.

Oakley-Nicholls looked like he has a future as did Hughes.

A great sign is that Tambling is starting to gain some confidence. He will be up and going and at his best very soon. :thumbsu:

Thanks mate, its just a shame you have a few on the troll board who think otherwise though.

Nature of the site really, your always going to get trolling from opposition supporters on every little thing that happens.

The saying making a mountain out of a mole hill was made for sites like this i reckon.

onya pal, we havent thrown the towell in all year, we can be proud of that...thx for your support & good luck, not that your teams needs any:rolleyes:

The youngsters made us proud today....Hughes, King, Edwards and JON. Great to see the latter be a last minute inclusion in leiu of Krakouer. I don't give a pigs rectum about conditioning these lads or keeping them in cotton wool for a season or two. We need to take a leaf from most other Clubs who are blooding multiple debutantes this season. Should be Reiwoldt's turn next week.......GO TIGERS!!!

Can't help but have a grudging respect for that midfield.

Bloody hell they do alright.

I was pleased because I've written off 2007 as a competitive year and its all about trying to build some effort for next year. If we are not that far off the best team in the game then we are not basket cases.

Obviously over the next few months it will be nice if we can get wins against the likes of Carlton or Collingwood and also produce a few stirring performances but it is all about knitting a side together that can play and can overcome disappointments and setbacks so the performance today was good. The results are almost immateraial since we are not going to the finals anyway.
