Really was fine against GWS, but so were 21 other players and I'm sure CEY, Otten, Lyons, etc. would have been fine too. Reilly isn't so much better that he should be picked over a younger player. It's arguable that he's better at all.

Yep. Reilly's seniority, experience and role should see him rising to and influencing games where we are challenged and under the pump for the full 4 quarters.

Otten is an absolute monty to return against the Dees. As has been mentioned above, this was not the ideal return game for him, and he'll be better for another run in the twos.


Great to see Grigg back, even if he is likely to be wearing the vest. Hopefully he can come on and have an impact and cement his spot in the starting 21 moving forward. We need that elite left leg hitting targets and the scoreboard for the next 10 years.

Unfortunately he was terrible. Mitch Thorpe killed him. Even though Glenelg's midfield was on top, Otten couldn't even halve the contest on the majority of occasions.

Plus he looked really slow (even for him) and lacking match fitness.
